andrew i have an issue with your sliders, but the game flow + rebounding is good though. i have eddie griffin on my team. whenever i pump to free up a jumper with him, a sub-par stealer reaches over and takes the ball away from me. this happens three consecutive times sometimes with someone like al jefferson. i can understand if its shane battier or brevin knight, but al jefferson? no way. i've lowered the steal for the cpu down to the same as mine, and lowered interception ability for both.
Not much else you can do apart from that - the default sliders for the CPU's stealing and interceptions are even higher. You have to be really careful with pump faking this year, as defenders can now tie the ball up and wrest it away from you if you pause after pump faking.
also, i found that when the cpu is on a semi-fast break say 2on2, they just push my guys back. when i use eric snow with hands up and everything, the guy just pushes him back to the basket and lays it up EVERYTIME with 100% accuracy. not every player in the game can get around someone that easily like kobe bryant or allen iverson to get a layup like that. when i run the pick + roll with my big men, my bigmen almost always get tackled from a guy on the other side of the wing without anything called and miss the layup over 50% of the time.
The CPU is very adept at powering through the user's defense and forcing the user to automatically adjust shots. You can turn up the midair collision foul sliders, turn down the CPU's physical on-ball defense slider and if you like, you might want to try turning up the user freestyle effectiveness slider.
I don't know if anybody else has this problem or if it has to do with the sliders, but Andrew with your sliders the opposing team realies on guard play too much. And it is not just the team. In my Supersonics franchise against the Spurs, Tim Duncun didn't get one touch in the first quarter, while Nesterovich only got one on a fast break. They didn't even try to give it to them.. they relied on jump shots and penetration from the PG and SG. This happened before with the Clippers and Hawks, too.
I haven't changed anything in the sliders that would affect the game that way - there aren't any sliders that have that kind of effect on the game. Even with default sliders and rosters, the CPU does favour guards and small forwards a little too much at times.
