passing question

Thu Dec 30, 2004 1:46 pm

i'm pretty new to this game and this is probualy a dumb question but it is really annoying that almost everytime I pass, the guy who catches it stops. *i have it for PS2*

where is your question?

*guesses his inexistent question* :?

Yeah, there's almost no way you can do to make them run in lanes. But yesterday something miracle happened when I played NJ Nets vs Philidalphea in my dynasty. :D J. Kidd stole a pass when he saw VC running and calling for the pass. When I threw a rare lead pass to him, I saw Jefferson running past him and waving for the pass. And so I hit the alley-oop button and the SLAM!!!! :D

And in the same game, after Kidd called for a pick-and-roll, the screener (who is an athletic 2nd-round-pick rookie) got COMPLETELY open in the lane and I threw the lob for the SICK 180 JAM!!! 8-)

The second paragraph has nothing to do with this thread, just to share my experience. 8-)

The lead pass only happens when you have a fast break with more of your guys then the other teams defenders. Always happens with me with my NETS teams

Maybe you have to pass to them when they call for it? :?
dunno... but it happens occasionally.

Many times I got a a 3-on-1 fastbreak and my teammates just jogged and stopped at the 3-point line.

The only way to throw a lead pass is when the recipient is sprinting with his hand up.

Turn the crash boards thingy on, probably they will run to the net more ofton

Yea, you will throw a lead pass if the recipent has put his hand out to call for the ball.
