Best Individual Performance

Postby Seonadancing on Wed Dec 29, 2004 12:07 am

Since we have a Best/Worst Game thread. Why not have a Best Individual performance thread, either for a game or a season average. I know we're going to need pictures and all that proof but let's just be honest here. Please state how long your quarter lenght is so we can make comparisons. Thanks.

So i'll go first.

Quarter lenght: 7 minutes
-I had Shaq score 54 points on 25-26 shooting. This was a playoff game against the Raptors.

- I had Wade make 14 steals in a game and he is now on the all-time best list. He averaged 5.40 steals for the season.

- The most rebounds i've gotten is 20 by Shaq. 7 OR and 13 DR.

- Best triple double game: Dwayne Wade with 18pts, 14assts, 13 stls.

Exibition game
Length: 12 Minute Quarter
Difficulty: Superstar
My Team: Dallas Mavericks
Versus: Detroit

Dirk Nowitzki with 82 points 12 rebounds 5 blocks 2 assists 56% fg...

i could have had more points but the coach kept subbing in some other guy... Henderson or something like that...

i dont usually play Dallas... but i read somewhere that Dirk had a sure shot sweet spot somewhere near the top of the key and i wanted to check it out if it was true... its not really a sweet spot because it works for any big man that has a good field goal rating with high release points... like Dirk, Duncan, Garnett etc....

i have a sneaking suspicion that even with the CPU assistance off... there is still a CPU comeback that makes the user's shot crappy so that the computer can comeback... i was making like 10 shots in a row with Dirk... all the same shot with fatigue off so its not like he got tired... then the computers comeback started to kick in and all of the sudden Dirk cant buy a bucket... and ive been doing the same shot that ive been doing all along... what gives... if i was playing a different team that didnt have a sure shot player... and i didnt build up a 20 point lead... i surely would have lost cuz of the computers stupid comeback cheesiness...

Question: how does Houston get 1.5 steals?

I bet your sliders were incredibly in your favor since you managed to score 111 points with only three players on 6 minute quarters  so I suggest you quit bragging and mocking about how much better you are than everyone else.

Personally, I don't care for individual performances since I play as Detroit, so even the most I can get is 7 blocks, or 8 steals, or 42 points from an individual performance, I'm still undefeated and blow away teams by an average of 20 ppg.

Minnesota Timberwolves
Andrew's sliders

Wally Szczerbiak-41 points, 6 rebounds
Kevin Garnett-16 points, 21 rebounds, 9 assists
Troy Hudson-12 points, 4-5 from three

that was a recent game too. Oh yeah, 12 minute quarters.

I'd love to see you play a full game of 6 minute quarters using Andrew's sliders and score 130 points. Are you aware that translates to 260 points if you were playing 12 minute quarters?

You still didn't tell me how Allan Houston got 1.5 steals in a game.

its obvious hes lying 1.5 steals in a game in not going to happen. just sad how some people try and lie about how good they are. with andrews sliders on 12 minute quarters without going crazy i manage to score 40pts, 14rebounds and 4 steals with Rashard Lewis and Ray allen had 30pts, 5rebounds and 2 steals i won the game 90-80 and the rest of my team sucked it up scoring only a few points it was v.s Phoenix.

Exactly. I just thought it'd be fun if he could explain how he came up with 1.5 steals :)

What settings, level and sliders d you guys play with?

Im seeing some ridiculous individual scoring by one player 82 points and stuff?

The highest i scored is with Kobe 42 points andhe was HOT, i average 22 a game with Kobe., scoring 42 is HARD for me.

I use superstar and play with realsitic sliders, i even give favour to the CPU.

I scored 53 ( including a game winning 3 ) with Redd once....it was a double overtime win, 123 - 120. This was on starter

On all star...the most I scored was 37 with Gordon and a couple of 20/20 games with Curry but that's it.

I play with 12 minute quarters and I use Andrew's sliders with some of my own modifications

Best individual performances

Postby coldshade on Wed Dec 29, 2004 12:59 pm

I play the bobcats in Dynasty mode, all star level and 10 minute quarters. Since I really go exclusively to Okafor everytime, his best individual feats are:

Points=74
Rebounds=41

The funny thing is, I into my second season with the team and I still can't get Kapono to hit 3 point shots consistently. Anybody here having difficulty with Jason Kapono?

I wasnt bragging just people keep bringing me back up.

And For somebody who said 6 min quarters is half of 12 Min Quarter Points... Thats a lie. game gets more intense with 12 mi nQuarters and its totally different. I scored 80 Points in a 6 Min quarter game before (This was the all star game) then went ot play 12 Min to practice up and i only got 112 witih comp 113... Same settings as before and everything. Just trying to prove not the same.

And ill try to play again with Starbury to get my Killa Jumpa And post some Screenies but prob just a once in a life game...

i play 8 min quarters on superstar, its frikkin hard to score 30.

my best was shawn marion, 51 points, 16 rebounds, 11 assists, 5 steals. only reason i could get this is cause it was a double OT win.

ive gotten amare to get 42 points one time, i think max rebounding is 20 rebounds so far...

im in my first season (82 games, i play every game its looooong :D )... and im 3 games away from all star break (im excited! :D lol)... and amare and nash are injured so marion prolly will get player of the month, he is currently averaging 28, 11, and 7...

Great stats! 41rebs for Okafor??? That is Bill Russell like stats =). 28 assits for kobe is still not enough to beat Scott skiles record of 30, although that is amazing. I remember having stocton make 33asts in a 7 minute game but that was on previous Live when it was easy to pass the ball inside for the easy dunk.

I forgot to include that i am playing on superstar level. I know about that Dirk Nowitzki sweet shot thing because my brother is playing a Dallas Dynasty. I would see him score on jumpshots time and again even with a defender in front of him. He would score 42 points in 3 quarters and that was just amazing. He could score from anywhere and is totally unstoppable.

I also mentioned in my Dynasty topic that i had Shaq score more than my opponent, so he kinda beat the other team by himself. If i remember it correctly, Shaq scored 48 to the 76ers 47.
Play On.

That's what im saying, i hit 42 with Kobe, but that was against the HORNETS, and he was HOT. On average, I'll get about 22 5 rebounds and 5 assists with Kobe. And that it self is hard to do. I don't know how the heck ya'll get 70 poinyts with 1 player, anything over 55 points on SUPER star with HARD sliders is a lie and not reaslistic.
