Probvally because your Video Card Doesnt support it . Or your just screwed :P ill just go with the first one.

does the nvdia gefroce4 mx440 64bit video card doesn't support the lighting option?

nope, u would have to have a 128 mb or more card

don't think you have to have 128mb, just a card that supports hardware T&L.
Not 100% sure though.

I thought that Geforce 4 and upwards supported T&L. I previously had a MX440, never had a problem. Have u tried new drivers?

i have the 61.76 driver installed but the lighting option still doesnot work. do nvdia have a new driver version?

you can enable the lighting by downloading the omega driver for your video card. the site can be found in one of the threads here.

don't triple post, it won't make any of us answer faster.

from the other posts I believe you should get lighting to work with those drivers...
anyway, I doubt your game will look better with lighting on, if your system can't run the game at the highest resolutions with high details, lighting will only make it look worse, you'll just see a bunch of white pixels around your players...

use the searchbutton on "omega" i'm sure you'll find something. i believe it was omegadrivers.net, not sure though and i'm too lazy to check since i'm working from pda at the moment :lol:
