LA Lakers: Trading Issues

I'm looking for a good point guard because Chucky Atkins just ain't doing the job.

I'm willing to trade Lamar Odom for a point guard, but theres just one problem-EVERY TEAM IN THE LEAGUE IS OVER THE CAP:!:

I want to know how to Solve this problem, AND get a point guard when its all set and done.

Please Help!

looking at the players' salaries that ur trading and when u trade, try to trade for other players that will match the salary ur trading or by 20% of it and it would work

for example
u trade
Player 1-salary is 500
and
Player 2-salary is 700
so total is 1200
try to trade for other player with salary within 20% of 1200 and it would work like...
u trade for
Player 3-salary is 200
Player 4-Salary is 300
and
Player 5-Salary is 650
total is 1150, that should work

This isn't a big deal, but answer anyway. How do Set my team up so at Away games, they can wear Black SOCKS, and at home games they can wear White Socks.

You can choose to have your team wear you team socks under the retro socks category. That way your team will be wearing black socks on away games and white socks on home games.

You could try to get K.Hinrich+T.Chandler+Cap filler for Ch.Atkins and L.Odom

i traded devean george for eric snow. particulary because i wanted a defender on my la lakers dynasty, and eric snow did well just fine + he's a great passer. i personally hated atkins, but that was just me. if i were you i wouldnt get someone like starbury or some other ballhog on your team because it'll make no sense if you have KOBE on your team.

I think managed to trade Jurmain Jones for Damon Jones, though its been a while since i've played so i cant be sure.

I know hes not the best point guard but he can shoot 3's and his passings in the 90's

Plus LA has an abundance of Small Fowards.

i got damon jones too. hes really cool, his pass rating is 93 also. i traded barbosa, filler, for jones, filler

Try looking into the GM statement. Try finding a PG that is about his salary. better or worse.

lets say odom is about 6M even, try looking for a guard that is around 5.8M - 6.2M will work. If there is no one. You can try looking for people who can add up to 6M. or you can add someone else to your offer. Like if odom is 6m and if you wanted to get Staudamire at around 15 M. You should atleast add another guy at around 9M in salary.

6M+9M = 15M (+- 10% will be fine i guess.)

D.J. Ford in Milwaukee is a good PG and only 20 years old. You won't need to give up Odom for it.
