NBA Live Questions(PLEASE HELP ASAP! I'm new to the game)

Please answer the questions for me. I just got the game for Christmas. So Bare with me.

1. Salary Cap. I started a Dynasty, and EVERY Team is has no room in their salary cap. So when I want to trade with them, they tell me they have no room in their salary cap. Any solution for this?

2. This isn't a big deal, but answer anyway . How do I do this? Set my team up so at Away games, they can wear Black SOCKS, and at home games they can wear White Socks.

1) Well you can edit all the player salaries down, I guess. But the real salary cap is a good thing, in my opinion. It isn't hard to make trades- you're just forced to make actual good deals now.

And- Charlotte has plenty of cap space. Dump some players on them if that's what you want to do

2) I bet there is, but I don't know.

How do I edit them down If I'm in Dynasty mode?


And can anybody answer my second question?

I'm pretty sure you can make trades with a team regardless of salary cap. You just have to make sure the salaries of the players involved in the deal are equal or within 20% of each other (or..something like that).

I haven't tried this, but I'm pretty sure you can just go into My Documents\NBA LIVE 2005\saves\Whatever you named your dynasty save\players.dbf and edit the salaries.

Open the Appearance.dbf or hte Teams.dbf and change The SocksAcc.

well that means you just going to have to change it manually after each game by going to edit player then go to feet and change the color. thats one of the best things about pc, you can do alot of editing

hahah you should have clarified that at the beginning. you can't do shit about it on ps2, my man. there is not dbf editing on a tv
