Why not?

I have no idea. I guess it's because when I played it there wasn't many good ones out, and when they started to come I wasn't playing it anyway...

12|22|04 :: TeamGear Update v5
Mikki wrote:TeamGear Update version 5 now up. Updates the sockcolors and the teamgears of some teams. Be sure to change the Default Shoes to Black Shoes for those teams who wear Black socks. Example: Seattle's Away Shoes are white so you have to change its players' shoes to Black for it to match.

As we have Christmas soon, Mikki, please "feel free" to upload the other 2004 stuff.

What files do we backup for the startup screen?
Fri Dec 24, 2004 5:01 am
Does the silver frontend patch work only if you have the default NBA Live 2005 directory? I installed mine in C:\NBA Live 2005. EA has something different as default.

All of them are VERY good. Is it possible to patch the very first screen, like right when you click the Live icon and it is Melo with a Silver background? Ithink it is called a splash page.

Yeah, it's possible. I made a ton of them just go to the Art section of 4th-Quarter.net
Thu Dec 30, 2004 12:27 pm
No not the starup screen I already downloaded the Jermaine one so I'm set for that

THe startup screens come after the intro movie. What I'm talking about comes before everything, even the NBA logos screen.

Just rename the movies folder to something else.
C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\NBA LIVE 2005\movies
to
C:\Program Files\EA SPORTS\NBA LIVE 2005\moviesX
That should do the trick
Thu Dec 30, 2004 8:30 pm

If you can do that then never mindI just won't have to watch it.
EDIT: That didn't make it go away. The startup screen comes right after the NBA Liscense screen, right? That's not it. How do you access your NBA Live game? Do you have an icon on the desktop that you click on?
Thu Dec 30, 2004 11:51 pm
Yeah, very well done!
