Player Introductions

Does anybody know what triggers pregame player introductions? Usually, game starts right after commentary from Marv Albert and Fratello. Sometimes, this is followed by home team starting lineup introductions.

Yes I noticed sometimes it completely skips the Player Intros without me pushing anything

Seems like they decide when they want to do them and when they don't. First I thought it was based on divison rivalries or just big matchups in general but it isn't. It's just unpredictable, pretty much whenever they feel like it I guess.....

yeah the whole thing is completley random,i do find it very odd that they did this though.

What was the trouble of putting it in everytime and letting us skip it if we wanted to

woah i didnt even notice that until the other day when i played the lakers...all of a sudden they had player intro, i thought that only happened in like all star games and stuff but that was first one for me and i had the game since it came out lol and ever since that...i just recently had another player intro yesterday...very weird

IMO they should have the player intro every game, for me it adds a better build up to the game.
Even if they cant have it every game at least have it for the big games or when you are playing at home.
I think ive had the intro about 3 times in 56 games.

I've never gotten the Intro!?!?! But, I do skip it sometimes...
