+ Miami led the whole way, was able to reduce lead to 5 in Shaq's absence late in the 3rd but failed to fully capitalise

you're putting in some work on this i can tell.

just a couple things: it's spelled OKAFOR, and posting the boxscores in code is just ugly....i'm assuming you're on PC because you have the nice player portraits from the game....perhaps a screenshot of the boxscores? or even just open it in notepad and do 'word wrap' and take a screenshot of that.

keep it up (Y)

PG S. Nash

SF J. Johnson, SG C. Jacobsen, PF M. Lampe, PG H. Eisley, C S. Hunter, PG L. Barbosa, PF Z. Cabarkapa, PF J. Vroman, PF K. Clark, PG Y. Tabuse

.:KEY PLAYERS:.
A.Stoudamire, S.Marion, S.Nash, and Q.Richardson

.:STRATEGIES:.
+ Expecting an uphill battle vs one of leagues most talented sides
+ try to goto work on Amare early on and get him into foul trouble
+ play Marion for the charge or tight to block the deep 2
+ with the exception of Johnson the Suns have a weak bench
+ they've lost 2 straight perhaps this can work in my favour... somehow :D

::POST GAME WRAP UP::

.:GAME NOTES:.
+ Nene was promising early with 4 quick points and 7 first quater rebounds, but got banged up going to the basket against Amare and sat out the rest of the game.
+ Managed to limit Amare to 27 mins by getting him in foul trouble early (forcing the issue on offense with okafor), but in his 27 mins he scored 27 points.
+ Started the final term only trailing by 5, but poor shooting and and turnovers made the end result a blow out in phoenix's favour.
+ Limited offensive production from both kidd and jefferson
+ On a positive note Emeka Okafor was feeling it on both sides of the court with 21 points, 11 rebounds, and 10 blocked shots

what you want in the way of highlights?

sometimes I find superstar so intense minute to minute it's kinda hard to step back and say that was cool.. coz even if you make a good play on offense you've got to be right back on defense (the cpu will take everything u give it).. I definately had more fun and highlight experiences playing All-Star mode but playing superstar is so captivating and realistic.. you really feel the pressure and have to work hard for those defensive stops.. god I love this game

.:KEY PLAYERS:.
Z.Randolph, D.Stoudamire, D.Miles, S.Abdur-Rahim

.:STRATEGIES:.
+ keep an eye on the mid to long range shooting of Stoudamire, Anderson and Van Exel
+ stop darius miles from driving, play him for the jump shot
+ look to exploit height mismatch of Podkolzin on Ratliff
+ Podkolzin play help out D on Z.Randolph in the paint
+ Post up with Okafor and look to kick out to kidd for deep 2/3

::POST GAME WRAP UP::

.:GAME NOTES:.
+ Limited Zach Randolph to just 5 mins on the floor by taking it to him early on offense pressing for the fouls
+ Better performance from the charity stripe overall (Nene getting 10 points from the FT line).
+ Good defensive pressure, gave very few inside looks. Limited portland to scoring the majority of their points from 20 ft (Stoudamire and Anderson scored fairly consistently from mid range)
+ Protected the ball better conceding a season low 13 turnovers
+ Pavel Podkolzin came up big on the boards (16 rebouds 3 of them offensive)
+ Scored consistently throughout the game and tightened defense in the second half and the final score turned out to be a blow out

PF K. Thomas
SF G. Robinson
SG A. Iverson
SG A. McKie

SF C. Williamson, SG W. Green, PG K. Ollie, SG A. Iguodala, PF B. Skinner, C M. Jackson SF J. Salmons

.:KEY PLAYERS:.
Allen Iverson and Glen Robinson

.:STRATEGIES:.
+ Philly are on a 3 game winning streak
+ AI and Robinson are averaging a combined 50 ppg
+ Philly are a shorter team and haven't been strong on the boards so far this season
+ They're one of the higher % fg teams (.435) and they do alot of their scoring in the back court
+ I'll be looking to post up whenever possible against shorter philly front court and will try to commit to limiting open looks for iverson and robinson

::POST GAME WRAP UP::

.:GAME NOTES:.
+ Held Iverson to 2 points in the first half, but halfway through the third he set fire (finishing with 26 points)
+ Gerald Wallace injured within a minute of coming off the bench and will be out for 3 weeks with a bone spur on his ankle.
+ Conceded 28 turnovers and 22 offensive rebounds, second chance points played a huge factor in philadelphia drawing level at the end of regular time
+ Jason Kidd hit a 3 pointer with 11 seconds in regulation to send the game to overtime
+ Podkolzin and Okafor combining for over 40 rebounds and 40 points
+ Jason Kidd scored a season high 36 with 4 of 8 from beyond the arc

::PRE-GAME REVIEW::

.:MAVERICKS' ROSTER:.

SF J. Stackhouse
SG M. Finley
PG J. Terry

SG J. Howard, SF M. Daniels, PG D. Harris, PF B. Outlaw, C S. Bradley, PG D. Dickau, PF N. Krstic

.:KEY PLAYERS:.
Dirk, Stackhouse, and Michael Finley

.:STRATEGIES:.
+ The Mavs are 2 - 4 and currently sitting at the bottom of the Southwest division but have won 2 straight
+ This is a team that can spread the offense around with 4 of the 5 starters averaging above 16 ppg
+ Post up hard against dirk early to draw fouls
+ Man to Man playing terry, finley, and stackhouse tight

i]::POST GAME WRAP UP::[/i]

.:GAME NOTES:.
+ Played well, tight D, maintained 10+ point lead up until final minutes of the game
+ This was a game where EA sports imposed it's will on the game. Basically I was up by 15 and in the last 10 mins they put me on a dry spell (8 points total 4th quater 3/21). While Dallas, despite me playing in front of the man making them take fade away jump shots to beat a shot clock violation more often than not, just nailed them one after the other
