Photoshop 7 tips - face textures

Can anyone give some good tips to use for realistic face textures for Photoshop using filters?

First you need a high quality image larger than a thumbnail. The better the image the better the patch will turn out. Also in PS I use KPT Effects to sharpen and Splat to add skin texture. Also good blending techniques are a must.
