just listen for a second. in 2003 the players movements FLOW together. in 2005 it doesnt look natural. and why dont players ever fall down in 2005? unless there diving for a ball i never saw anyone hit the court. and theres hardly any cut scenes in 2005. oh yeah, thats realistic. and in 2003 theres a lot of funny cut scenes because they were trying to HAVE FUN with the game. in 2005 its lifeless.

It's funny how you have to repeatedly squint your eyes to see the players. Squinting won't make your monitor any clearer, my guess is bestclubowner's eyesight has degraded severely since buying 03 and playing it 1 inch from the monitor, and now that his eyesight is gone, he buys 05 and thinks its crap when he thinks back to when he played 03 in all of it's 'graphical' glory..

actually i average about 10 Offensive rebounds per game, playing 48 mins.. seems realistic to me.

actually the players DO take charges. they often get called for blocks, but just as often they get charges.

actually the players "dont get any elevation" because they fixed that bug. in 2003 you can have a player like earl boykinds blocking a player like jason kidd. c'mon, are you serious? players cant actually just 4 feet in the air (unless you're antonio mcdyess and have a 48" vertical.)

actually player movement flows better in 2005. players off the ball work to get open, unlike in 2003 where as soon as you bring the ball up the court, everyone just stands unless you run a play. which, mind you, didn't work too well. live 2000 was the best game in terms of running plays.

oh and the only reason im responding is because im home from college right now spending time with my family so when im not talking to them i have nothing else to do :-d

I have. Over and over. YOU are the one who refuses to answer questions. All you do is argue while I merely ask you to support your case with some ammount of class and intelligence.

I will again answer some of your basic questions.

2005's graphics are much better, in my opinion. I have stated reasons and posted several pictures displaying what I think is better in the 2005 version. And there hasn't been one single poster who has agreed with you. So re-evaluate whether your opinion is FACT or not.

2005's gameplay is so much more fun TO ME. it's not a total dunkfest, with everyone leaping practically from half court. If I wanted NBA Jam, I'd break out the SNES.

2005's dynasty mode is FAR superior. There is no question to this. This borderlines on not being just opinion- it's damn near fact.

Players DO take charges, I see it all the time. Maybe you just don't see it when you play on rookie on "arcade" sliders, just freestyling past your opponents and dunking every play.

I have repeatedly tried to prove my side of this argument, by posting numerous picture comparisons, and typing paragraph after paragraph. While all you have done is repeatedly make 5 or 6 short, argumentative posts in a row, repeating your same opinions over and over, while saying nothing to actually support your cause.

You are coming across as an ignorant child. You have an OPINION, which you have a right to. You just need to realize it's an opinion, not a fact. This thread has become waste of time and space- the only purpose it serves now is to make people on this forum respect you less and less.

After laughfing my ass off when reading this forum, I have to agree with SOME of the facts that bestclubowner has. Some of them being:

1. No excitment--there is excitement in 05 than 03 but considering that 03 is an old game it was pretty good for that time,

2.Fans--I am not gonna say anything cause i have turned my Crowd animation off in 05

3.hmm.... wat else....yea, the dunks--In live 03 there were sick dunks but it is totally arcadish which a lot of ppl have pointed out. In 05 you have to earn your dunks, u cant jus jump from the free throw line and preform a 360.

4. Commentry-- In live 03 the commentry was not so good but they did scream and that made u feel excited and all...In 05 the commentry is kind of slow and not that emotional.

Overall i would like to say Nba Live 2003 was a great game for that time of the year, if you love arcade games then 2003 is the right choice for you. If u want realistic games then choose 05, cause it is a much better game than 03.

PS. Dont hate me cause i go with live 03 facts insted of 05...Plus i still patch for dat game so i still get to support it
