plus 03 has funny cut scenes AND LOTS OF THEM. ok heres what i want for u guys to do. go to ftp.ea.com and download the 2003 demo im not sure if its still up there and compare the clarity of the graphics and u will see how much better 2003 is. i just dont understand why people are so blind

And, as I said, I just recently downloaded the Live 2003 demo. And it sucked balls. You need to realize that you have your opinion, and other people have theirs.

I HATE mashed potatoes, but alot of other people LOVE mashed potatoes. That doesn't mean that I'm insane, it's just my preference. It's an OPINION.

Cut scenes get very old very quickly. I'm glad they aren't in 2005. I would watch them on occasion, but mostly just skip through them. That was good, though. At least you brought up something new this time around.

wow man...I use to play live 03 alot...but I got sick of it cause of its insane dunks n stupid blocking...the sound was so annoying too..it sounded like somebody got hit by a bus when they blocked.

the graphics r better than live 05??...u must be blind...live 05 is way better...prob is u need a good graphics card to get em at optimum..but in no way does live 03's graphics surpass that off live 05.

n that boring franchise mode, all u do is draft a rookie n then sign a free agent....n dont get me started on those horrible standings, in live 03 if your squad was that of the Mavericks last season u always win 70 games....no stopping it...sometimes 75..but never less than 70...

the bench minutes were so stupid, in sim games max bench minutes for a player was like 8-10 mins...and the awards giving was horrible...sixth man of the year went to Jamie Feick every single time..

commentary was horrible, those guys put u to sleep....

Live 2000 was better than Live 03, even Live 01 (though it sucked big time too) was better......

yes it introduced a new type of playing with some shit...but they were insanely easy...

n the 3 pt bug, the pc jacked up 3's n hit em every single time n that game.......and u would miss like 5 shots in a row....of course that happens so the scores could be close to each other, u could never get blow away results or even games with scoring diffz of at least 10 pts....it was always buzzer beats or 10 secs left with a 4 pt lead kinda game.

Live 03 was woeful, it was so bad that I didnt wanna buy Live 04, 05 or any Live game till I had full assurance it would be fun to play...Live 04 is good n I still enjoy playing it...so much that im willing to skip on Live 05(which i play at my friends place all the time n is really awesome) and wait till 06....

so yeh, its pretty weird how u like such a unrealistic game...I would play Backyard Basketball 2003 instead of it (y)

ive got a GREAT video card. 256 mb suckas. and ill try to get fraps working to show the difference. 2005 is BLURY AS HECK. plus theres no flow to the game. i cant believe people would actually edit pics to defend eas faults.

hmm hmm...Im sure u can recognise Andre Miller, specially when he looks like a mini Eddie Jones in it....

the faces were horrible, the players didnt have proper tattoos...all yucky generic shoes n terrible hairstyles too....but yet u can say which players are which in Live 03(when they look almost totally different in most cases) than in Live 05 (when even Andre Emmett looks so realistic).

Hmm I think U need to go look at some headshots from NBA.com n refresh your memory on what players look like.

no flow to the game???????....hmm so yeh dunking 360's, windmills, n just running past your opponents using Earl Boykins even if Shaq is at the post is real b-ball....cmon even streetballers cant do things like that, maybe they can but really really rarely..

theirs a thing called DEFENSE in basketball, its not a game where the best dunk wins games or the ability to run from end to end and finish with physically impossible dunks.

Live 03 is the worst basketball game Ive ever played, its even worse than Fox Sports Basketball....I enjoyed Live 2000 way way way more..even Live 2001.....
now Live 05 is the best ever basketball game out there(ESPN fans may beg to differ)......but yet u love prolly the worst basketball game of the Live series??
Your not a fan of basketball, your just a guy that thinks b-ball is all abt crazy dunks and insane 3 point shooting.

Gee....in that top pic, sure is hard to tell those guys apart. If they were wearing the same jersey and had the same haircut I might not be able to. But in the bottom one, that IS BARON DAVIS. It's his face. 100%. You can even tell that's KG from the BACK OF HIS HEAD. The detail is THAT good.

I want to respect your opinion, as this is not a matter of right or wrong, but I just don't see how you could think that the 2003 graphics are better. And, no I didn't edit these images. Again, they are directly linked to their pages. If you accuse me of having to cheat and lie to defend what is clearly better graphics again I really will eat your nose.

three other things i should point out.

1. why would i want to play a game where the crowd doesnt get excited and theres no enivronement?

2. whenever u try to drive it just pushes u back to the 3 point line

The crowd DOES get excited, chanting things such as MVP! MVP!, etc.....and they DO go crazy when you dunk. The commentary is the best of any NBA Live game ever- there's simply more there.
