If the big guys don't double team you then take advantage and score in the post.

pass the ball from side to side.. till you get an open 3rey!

another thing you can do is to use the screen..

But off the ball movement, i think that the most effective way to do it is if you a have a Bigman who can shoot the 3. Like say, Nowitzki.. you can have him downlow, so that his man will also be there. then, use the Off ball movement option so nowitzki can use team mates in the zone area as screens until he gets behind the arc.. as soon as he is free, pass the ball and take the 3.

i usually just do a simple pick and roll, except just when the pick is set, just take a step or two to the side and shoot it

Yea
Sometimes I can just penetrate and kick it out
Another way is I get a 3 Pt. shooter the ball and take it to a side and call for Isolation and then:
*Step inside the 3 then up-fake and as the defender jumps to block I take a step back and shoot
*Call isolation and then call for a pick and roll, if i dont get the 3 i at least sometimes get a bucket from a big man
*Shake the defender out of his shoes and run around and get open
*Off-ball control

Not sure if this is you guys' experience: some players will shoot 3 well on receiving an instant pass while some will shoot well after self dribbling a bit....
say I got Glen Rice from the free agent pool and his 3 pointer usu comes with a step move first, while Lama Odom gets rather accurate 3 on receiving an instant pass then jump right away....

I also like the previous posts use the 'screen' move pretty often for 3 pointer.... yet I agree that good passing down the post areas sometimes will give your 3 pt shooter WIDE open.... and tha'ts probably the best chance... and somehow Christ Mihm has once made a 3 ponter out of wide open situation!!

I'm also in favour of the humble pick and roll play. In Live 2005 the player setting the pick doesn't roll as often, giving you a good chance to get a good look at a three.

Dumping it low and then kicking it out works quite well when you have a good inside guy. If you got that, the CPU will double him as he can't otherwise defend against him, but he won't against a poor guy. I've got Amare in my dynasty and he draws doubles pretty well, but when he goes to sit for a while I can forget about dumping it low and kicking it out.

Just finished my first season in dynasty mode with a fantasy drafted team on all-star difficulty and struggled mightily. I have a young team and almost everyone improved from the first season. I also go me some rookies during the off-season... Just to try them out.
