It's a little different this year, my dynasty is crashing a lot lately? Hmm--I'll let you know if I figure something out with the dbf files. But as of now--my way is not full proof. :? sorry. My advice, trial and error.--SAVE your files.

Congrats to the Milwaukee Bucks, 2004-2005 NBA Champions.

I will be working on the massive, season-ending website update (including season awards, etc) over the next few days. I've got my five NLSC players for the draft, thanks to those of you who dropped me a PM just a bit too late- there will be room for you in the next draft, don't worry

I'm going to be experimenting with dbf stuff (after backing up my files )....but I definitely need help as to how the hell I'm going to change appearance and stuff (for the NLSC players in the draft) just by DBF editing... :!: clueless :!:

New Orleans lost to Milwaukee in the Finals??? WTF is going on ... how did that happen? That sure is a sign, that the team ratings in this game are a little bit f...ed up ...

But its nice to see the Hornets in the Finals :D. I guess something we won't see for some years to come in the real NBA .. but in my dynasty, once I get it started.

Nets Off-Season

R. Buford- (Undecided/Unlikely, didn't do much for the team last year)
G. Rice- (Likely to retire, but will be invited back if not)
D. Mbenga- (Undecided, depends on draft results)
L. Funderburke- (Probable- likely to be re-signed)
B. Armstrong- (Unlikely- hardly played last year)
J. Jones- (Undecided...was very ineffective but there's something appealing about him. Might bring him back if he stays cheap)

Players already under contract for the upcoming season:
Scot Pollard, Nikoloz Tskitishvili, Richard Jefferson, Ben Gordon, Earl Boykins, Ron Mercer

Check posts below for player movement and draft info.

NLSC Player Draft Prospects:

New Jersey Nets Draft Prospects:

I looked at a few guys, and I only found two that I really liked, Center Kurt Harris, and PG Johnny Wong. Harris is a rebounding MACHINE. He is definitely my man- if he is available, I'm going to snag him for sure. Unless Cody Worley (Wormy10 on NLSC) is available. I've got my SG in Gordon, but I really liked Worley's game...might be worth a gamble if he's on the board that late. I am GOING to resign PG Joshua Carr (myself), and I already have Earl Boykins, but if Johnny Wong is available, I might take him.

NLSC player DRAFT PICKS:

Well I got really tired of looking at my ugly ass cyberface (the convert from live 2004- it looked ok last year but like shit this year)....so i took WAY too long and made my own. I don't have a very good picture, so I took parts of me and mixed in several other players. So it's mostly me, and some other guys  But I think it looks pretty good. Any feedback would be cool. Just on quality.

EDIT: Added "The Future" cyberface, too.

If anyone has wanted my cyberface in their dynasty for whatever reason, I have that now. So contact me (Y)

This is posted up there too, but since there are comments inbetween, I'll post it here as well.

I broke a golden rule and traded a FA I just signed (actually two). I know, I know. But I traded Lonny Baxter and Antonio Malone (the center I drafted) to the Celtics for Kurt Harris (the guy I originally wanted to draft).

Then I have just traded Scot Pollard and Lawrence Funderburke to Chicago for Eddie Robinson. Problem solved.

I know it's a damn lot of offseason trades, but better now than in the middle of the season.

Projected Rotation:
Starters:
c- Nikoloz Tskitishvili
pf-Richard Jefferson
sf-Luke Walton
sg-Ben Gordon
pg-Joshua Carr
Bench:
c- Kurt Harris
pf-Austin Croshere
sf-Cody Worley
pg-Damon Jones
sg-Eddie Robinson
pg-Yuta Tabuse

I'm going to see how effective Skita can be at center, and If he's good, then I'm either going to play him at starting center ahead of Harris, or primarily as the backup center, and austin croshere at backup PF. I have him on IR. Damon Jones and little Yuta will split time pretty evenly at backup PG.

I could forsee Walton moving to the bench, and Croshere starting (pf-Croshere, sf- Jefferson), but we'll have to see.

Preseason game coming tonight, hopefully. And, just kind of forget about my website for the moment, I really haven't wanted to take the time to do the total update. I'm not abandoning it though.

Ok, so The Future and Honor Glow were both supposed to be drafted in this year's draft, but they weren't. So I was like, okay, I'll just edit their ratings up a bit and sign them to a team. But evidentally the CPU did some house cleaning, because they both disappeared. So instead of doing alot of editing, I just decided to replace players in the NBA I didn't care about with these two guys. So here's what I did.

Matt Cava (The Future) has replaced Chris Kaman on the Clippers (see the preview of his cyberface that I made a few posts up).
Honor Glow has replaced Viktor Kyrapa on the Heat.

I've decided after playing part of a game that Tskitishvili will be my starter at center until he proves he shouldn't be, which hopefully won't happen.

I'm very happy with this team, and I really feel this team will be something special.

Nets open 2005-2006 season with win @ Detroit

It looks like it's going to be a very special season for the Nets. All the pieces have fallen into place. The starters are all very talented, unselfish players, and when the bench is in, you have to wonder whether New Jersey's bench is better than any other team in the league. 15 points/12 rebounds for Nikoloz Tskitishvili, who will be playing center this year for the team. Richard Jefferson added 22 points/4 rebounds....New Jersey showed in just one game that they play terrific team basketball. And they showed this in Detroit, who is famous of late for their 'team play'. Watch out, NBA, here come the Nets.

It didn't matter who scored, or who had the ball. The Nets were a team not playing for stats, just for the W.

On the bad side of things for the Nets, Luke Walton was totally ineffective. Looks like the Lakers might have got the better of the offseason trade that brought LA a point guard in Earl Boykins. Walton's salary comes off the books after this year, so if he is a bust in the Meadowlands, it won't be too big a punch.
