Does anyone else's dynasty crash ever so often? Mine does--but I've been having to save everytime after a game. It crashes after intervention then I'll try to play the 4th quarter, then it'll load half way then crash to my desktop. Has this happen to anyone else?

just happen once, during all-star week at 3 point shoot out... but with your experience not yet... does it something to do with putting your CF in the dynasty coz we know its hard to put CF on generated player...

For me it only crashes when I go to instant replay, make a picture and paste it in Paint Shop Pro to many times in a row. Also when I screw up with some DBF editing but I make sure that I have some backups.

Here it just crashed to the desktop when I pasted a screenshot in paint.. in the second quarter.. that's not cool

i always just take the pictures and then after the game i open up paint and open the pictures. might not be as easy but game wont crash.

How do you do that? Do you use the photo button?

In replay I guess? But if you use that button, there is the ugly panel. Isn't there a button or something so we don't have to use that ugly panel?

indeed i do use the photo button, but i guess if you want to use the print screen button its a different story. unless you just use it once, then you can paste it after the game. i use a logitech controller which is exactly like a ps2 so i just use the "select button" if your using a keyboard or something i cant help you except to say there is a way to minimize it.

Yeah I know you can hide the panel, but then you can't take snapshots anymore
Mon Nov 22, 2004 6:08 am
you can using the F12 button.
Mon Nov 22, 2004 6:10 am
Look, that's the answer we need

I hope that works, if so then we can take snapshots without having to go paste it in PSP or Paint

I don't think ym problem is purely with dynasty now, it just crashed after I tried to play another game in exhibition mode?
Mon Nov 22, 2004 8:45 am
what patches do you install, maybe one of them corrupt a main file in your main live folder.

Have you updated video card settings? Mine never crashes. I take ss, use Fraps, frequently window out to the desktop and return to play later. And my card is an nVidia GE Force 4 TI 4200, hardly state of the art.

Great, i updated my drivers and now the game crashes, actually my cpu restarts when i minimize. Does anyone have this problem?
Tue Nov 23, 2004 10:33 am
no i don't have any problems like that unless i take the cd out for whatever reason. last year you could do that (and put in a music cd or whatever) without the game crashing, but this year it does......if i leave it minimized for a really long time, it freezes, but doesn't crash- it unfreezes after a minute or so. i haven't installed the NLSC roster patches....maybe there is an issue there? the only patches i've installed are a few faces, and the hi-res shoe and jersey patches
Tue Nov 23, 2004 10:49 am
ive installed the nlcs patches and all the court/stadium patches on the .org along with some face patches and ive had no problem so far so it cant be those things. what was the last patch you downloaded?
Tue Nov 23, 2004 11:03 am
it was the drivers--i installed the old ones and it worked again. Although the game looked better with the newer drivers. I think it might have something to do with me using a 64 bit processor? I'm gonna look around.
thanks for the help fellas.
The only thing is, when i minimize the damn game and want to get back to it--there's a serious error that happens and reboots my cpu? I have no idea why it does this?
