player speed

Fri Nov 19, 2004 12:31 pm

Is there any way to fix up the player speeds? i've got a 90 speed rated player getting outrun by Chris Kaman (that's just from the last game i played). He should be zipping around the court running circles around the defenders.

been playing around the sliders a bit and now i'm just using PARED's sliders. Playing on superstar difficulty. I noticed that in the lower setting your fast players actually do move about quicker based on the speed settings. But on superstar, it seems like all your players are equally slow.

Is that just a function of playing at harder difficulties? it friggin frustrates the hell out of me having a 90 speed rated player getting outrun by defenders with a speed rating in the 60's

He is playing on superstar difficulty. He's trying to ask if that's the case duh.

Anyway I've noticed the same thing too, Tmac gets outrun by Al Harrington.

No, Child-of-God and I are confused about one of his statements where he says where "all the players are equally slow on superstar mode" but then contradicts his statement by saying his "fast players do move quicker on superstar mode." He may have meant All-Star for one of those statements.

oops

i meant all the players on my team are equally slow. But all players on opposing teams just seem to move faster.

It's kinda frustrating, and if it is a function of playing on superstar, i think it's better to play in the lower difficulty levels.

there was no mistake in what he said

"Playing on superstar difficulty. I noticed that in the lower setting your fast players actually do move about quicker based on the speed settings. But on superstar, it seems like all your players are equally slow. "

He stated that he was playing on superstar difficulty. Then said "I noticed THAT IN THE LOWER SETTING, your fast players......BUT ON SUPERSTAR, they're slow"

there's nothing wrong with that

:D

It has something to do with the freestyle effectiveness sliders. Try increasing it you'll notice they will run faster.
