several questions about DBF EDITING

should there be any problem if i edit the names and appearances of the rookies from the upcoming draft (team 39, right?)? I mean basically this- If I change "Smith, Bob" to "Jones, Marty" in players.dbf is that going to cause any conflicts somewhere else?

also- i might be dumb, but in appearances.dbf, is the height number inches? and i'm assuming that the weight is normal pounds.

IF SOMEONE COULD POST WHAT ALL THE VALUES MEAN (or give me a link to the post that i'm sure exists that i can't find), like color, body type, etc..because i will be editing a few of the upcoming draftees to be nlsc players, and it would be very helpful to know the meaning of all these values.

MOST URGENT QUESTION: in players.dbf, what is the "ROOKIERANK,N,3,0" column mean? i don't think any numbers repeat- so is this the order that they are going to be picked? or just the best rated is 0? or what?

I think that's how they are rated, but not how they are drafted.

good to hear! it certainly is staggering to open that dbf and see all those values For everyone's FYI, I messed around with changing names of upcoming rookies (and some existing players just to test), and got no errors when loading that dynasty again. This has brought up a new question for me. If I don't want to have to work really hard to change an upcoming rookie's appearance, can I just have them use an existing player package (of maybe an older player who won't be around much longer)? will the game crash if 2 players use the same package at the same time?
