HELP Installing Cyberface!! (updated)

hey all...i need help. i have the zip file containing my cyberface and stuff from live 2004- i need someone to explain step by step how to put it into live 2005.

and, no, i don't remember how to do it AT ALL, so i kind of need somebody to be really nice and explain it totally. these are the files i have:

beye.fsh
jocarr_.fsh
jocarr_loda.o
jocarr_lodau.o
jocarr_lodc.o
jocarr_lodcu.o
jocarr_lodd.o
jocarr_loddu.o
jocarr_suit_loda.o

The player's name is Joshua Carr (his name is the same in 2005 as it was in 2004). He is already in my Dynasty, and my Dynasty has started. So I need to import these files into that Dynasty.

any help would be much appreciated

can someone just take what i have and convert it to 2005 for me? and then help me install it into my already existing dynasty file

these are the instructions i got...kind of vague.

Just put the files in the sgsm folder and then copy the DBF files to your roster.. done..

i understand the dbf thing just fine- but i've tried putting the cyberface files several different places to no avail. i tried just putting them all in the sgsm folder straight up- nope. i tried making a new folder called "JOCARR_" in the sgsm folder- nope. I tried putting all the files in the sgsm/players folder- nope. Then finally I tried making the "JOCARR_" folder inside the sgsm/players folder- nope.

did he not do something right or am i just not putting them in the right place? if you could help soon, i'd appreciate it

in live 05 instead here are the files you should have

and you gonna import him in their respective viv files.

yeah i have all those files now- he took what i had from 2004 and converted it to what i need for 2005 now.

i don't know how to import those files, or which to import them to

i found some instructions on a different post--
but he didn't give me two fsh files- in the other post i found, it said there should be a jocarr_.fsh and a jocarr_r.fsh or something like that. i only have jocarr_.fsh


this is what i did:

Example: To install the Sasha Vujacic patch, Open plyrface.viv using EAGRAPH, Click the Import button, select Add files to external tar and click add and select
savujac.fsh and savujacr.fsh and click Next, now click Finish and your done. Then you would do the same for the other files
by opening the other .viv files below in EAGRAPH and following the same directions to import the files listed below next to
the corresponding .viv file.

plyrface.viv -> savujac.fsh, savujacr.fsh
plyrgrb.viv -> savujacB_goggle.ebo, savujacB_headband.ebo
plyrgrc.viv -> savujacC_goggle.ebo, savujacC_headband.ebo
plyrgrd.viv -> savujacD_goggle.ebo, savujacD_headband.ebo
plyrlodb.viv -> savujacB.ebo
plyrlodc.viv -> savujacC.ebo
plyrlodd.viv -> savujacD.ebo

Non Existing Player:
Follow the exact directions above to install the files that came with the patch. Next you will have to create Sasha
using EA's create a player. Once created you must then open the players.dbf and appearance.dbf files and make some minor
adjustments. The changes are listed below by file.

Players.dbf
Change the Following Field Attributes Sasha Vujacic
DELETED = F
ISCREATED = F
FACEPATCH = F
ISGENERATE = F
ISHISTORIC = F
PLAYERPKG = SAVUJAC

Appearance.dbf
In the Players.dbf locate the APPEARID for the Player and then search for it in the Appearance.dbf file. Once located make the following
changes

DELETED = F
FACEID = -1
ID7 = SAVUJAC

Now just load up the roster and the player should now be in the game. Enjoy

but, as i said, i don't have that other fsh file, so i guess that's why it didn't work? how do i get this other fsh file?

the original face i made using the create a player is still showing up- no problems, except my new cyberface isn't showing

The savujacr.fsh its just the reflexion, so it should work anyway but with a pink shadow in the floor....

So extract any ......r.fsh file and open it with FSHX, and import the bitmap that you want...

One last try....

FORGET ABOUT THE FOLDER just put ALL the files in the SGSM folder, and the follw the instructions above for the DBF.....

FINALLY WORKED!

thanks seraph. it doesn't look very good-his ears are messed up and the skin on his face/head/neck is near green, but lol, but it worked.

funny thing happened though, the generic little shadowed figure that is usually the portrait for created players is gone- there's nothing.

btw, if your doing the face for vujacic, his plrpkg is alvujac, not savujac.

thanks to everyone who helped. i got it all figured out now- it WAS a problem with the "r" file i chose. i've got it all ironed out, and after a bit of woe trying to get the skin tone right, i'm ready to take the court, and i even did myself up with some purple hair i'm the next rodman
