You have to press, very lightly, the shoot button.
Then, if you want to move, press the crossover/spin move + a direction key.

Have to be under the hoop, tap the shoot or dunk button.

To bump the defender, you need a PF or C. Stand in front of the defender and press pro hop.

i dont know about the bumping the defender... my yao ming seldom bumps the defender but shaq does it most of the time.. do you think the strength has an effect on this?

Mon Nov 08, 2004 1:59 am

Strength definently has something to do with it I would say
Possibly weight does a little bit?
A 100 lb. person isnt going to push around shaq is he? Or any big man

Weight doesn't matter. I've already tried it and Boykins can bump Shaq as well as anyone.

I also don't understand what everyone is saying about up and under. I would like to try this move it sounds good.

Up & Under
Where you have your back to the defender
You turn around with the ball and up fake, bring it back to the other side and take a dribble or not to the basket
That is the best way to explain it for me, I know it is hard to understand, if someone had a video then it would be better

Yeah I notice CPU players seem to be real good at bumping off or pushing you off the ball to score.
