FSHX and bitmap backgrounds - question for court patchers

Tue Nov 09, 2004 10:49 am

Hopefully one of the court patchers can answer this question.

Last year FshEd could be used to update .fsh files. This was nice because it had a plug-in for Photoshop files, which meant you could import Photoshop files directly into an FSH file.

FSHX doesn't have a Photoshop plug-in. FSHX will let you import DDS or BMP files.

Now for my question. I take a Photoshop image with a transparent background that worked last year. I save it as a BMP. I import it into FSHX into a court fsh file. When I run NBA Live 2005, the image appears, but the background isn't transparent.

How are you court patchers getting pieces of FSHX files (like tlga) to have transparent backgrounds?

Thanks in advance,

Steve

You have to use a transparent .png

I'm afraid I don't follow. Fshx won't import .png files. Thanks.

Save the file with the transparency as a .png, then when you import, type (your file name).png in the import box and click open. It will work.
