you can replace the 2nd, 3rd and 4th pda by renaming the .big file to bckgrnds~pda_bg*.big where * = the # of the pda you want to replace...

Export pda_bg1.fsh from bckgrnds~pda_bg1.big with bigGui.
-Import the desired png into pda_bg1.fsh with FshX.
-Import pda_bg1.fsh into bckgrnds~pda_bg1.big with bigGui.
-Import bckgrnds~pda_bg1.big into fe\bckgrnds.viv with bigGUI.

no, it only replaces the default one
the other pda's are called bckgrnds~pda_bg2.big, bckgrnds~pda_bg3.big and bckgrnds~pda_bg4.big
and i just found out you can just dump the .big file into \sgsm, no more importing into viv's
