No Crossplay for PC User

I hate 2k. I saw that there's no cross-play on PC and the rosters are different, so we can't use the rosters we created on PS5. Another user-hating company! I hope NBA Live and EA Sports come into the game soon. This is a huge disappointment for me.

What?!? Are you sure there is no cross play? I don't see why they would remove cross play especially just for roster and file downloads which they had last year.

Nevermind, just checked the FAQs and cross play wasnt a thing in 2k25 for PC users.

But the files on 2k share were available for all next-gen consoles and PC. Is it confirmed we cannot download 2kshare files from next-gen consoles onto our PC 2k26?

Maybe they will open up the cross-play for 2K Share when the game comes out for everyone with a day-one patch. Hoping for the best at this point, but they might have removed it to steer clear of any potential lawsuits on their hands.

I want to think like you. I hope this issue is resolved as soon as possible. It has completely ruined my enthusiasm for the game.

yes we don't use rosters this year. I hate them!

Imho a possible reason is the in PC we use Cheat Engine or other tools to edit things that can't be touched on console that caused some glitch, and more CS Tickets, so 2K decided to disable the cross-share

There will probably be tools to allow us to do so. I'm sure the 2K community will figure it out. That really puts me in a bind because the person who's roster I download is on PS5. I guess I won't start with the PC version this season. ...They could've just blocked PC users access to share rosters with consoles but they did not have to block PC users' access to console rosters. This type of behavior makes me wish EA Sports still made basketball games. They only do stuff like this because the fans have no other option.

I hate 2K's mentality. For example, I'm a European basketball fan. Since they don't, I like to create my own European teams and play them on PS5. If you don't add those teams, at least don't stop us from doing so. They're a completely user-unfriendly company.

No sharing of files = no purchase for me. This means much fewer rosters, scenarios and DNA for PC users. There will probably be less modding too. I play 100% offline so I rely on these assets to create fictional and non-NBA rosters. I have played scenarios with Italian, German, Greek and Spanish leagues. These will no longer be available. It will also effect console users, they will have less accurate rosters and DNA.
