The Knicks Thread....

Knicks got a rude awakening last night against the Celtics. Leon Rose should have found a way to get a rim protector before the trading deadline. When will the Knicks wake up and realize they can't rely on Mitch Robinson. They're not getting out of the second round.

I love Mitch when he's actually playing but he misses so many games every year since coming into the league, he hasn't even played for the knicks in 10 months and the only news I see of him is his latest cryptic posts on X

The difference between a good and great team, and good and great season. They've made good moves, got some good players, but they're not at that contender level yet.

I have to agree we are definitely not there yet but id love to see us have a full year with Mitch healthy plus a change id make would be replace Matt Ryan with TJ Warren and once the Mavs let Mosses Brown we Nedd to snap that young man up because he can play in this league

Well I called for it and just hours later the knicks have waived Matt Ryan and Jacob Toppin, ok I know I didn't call for toppin to go but hopefully the knicks are going to pay some respects to the work TJ and Brown has being putting in at the G league

Yes, the Knicks have a decent team, but 0-9 against the best teams is not enough. We might win 1-2 playoff rounds, but that's it...unless a miracle happens.

KAT is solid, I am always surprised how fast he is tanking his way to the hoop for a layup...even coast to coast. We'd need two more good defenders. Robinson cannot do it all..

Knicks look set to sign to sign PJ Tucker, a little over the hill and I would of rather gone with TJ Warren or Moses Brown but hey Thibs isn't playing either of them even if they did bring them up!

I heard the Celtics were the front-runners to sign him...this surprised me.

105:120 against the wembyless Spurs...Thibs should really play the bench more, especially when McBride and others shoot below 30%. Subbing some bench players in with 1:xx minute to play does not make sense because they can't do anything, especially with this stupid fair play rule where every team lets the clock tick down without shooting...it is boring as hell.

Incredible 4th quarter run by the Knicks in a solid, fun game. I thought Mitch Robinson did work in the first half. If Cam Payne's going to give us this kind of production, Thibs has to give him more minutes.

Pistons hurt themselves with sloppy play and bad shots. But these series are all about adjustments...we'll see Detroit bounces back Monday night.

Frustrating Knick loss. Two glaring issues for me;


1) The offense can't be Jalen Brunson dribbling & dribbling for 18 seconds while the other four guys stand around. That's not an offense - you're not winning in the playoffs with the iso crap. Move the ball around!
Brunson has to be more of a playmaker.

2) I don't care what defense Detroit is playing. It's on Thibs and his staff to adjust. Figure out a way to get our main offensive weapon (KAT) the ball down low so he can operate. Ten points in a playoff game and none in the fourth quarter???

If Thibs ran the Knick offense like I do in NBA 2k, Pistons would have no chance. Kat gets the ball on the damn block.

He should be killing it out there. KAT is getting abused on defence and if he's not scoring and rebounding at this point he's hurting the team and Thibs doesn't adjust his offence its like you said its get the ball to JB and stand around and that isn't going to cut it.

Well, KAT's performance the last two games is why he was brought here. Let's wrap this up at MSG tonight.

Iam about to sit down and watch it now, I wanted to stay up and watch it live but staying up till nearly 4am UK time at 44 years old would ruin me nowadays lol
