Shoe Mod Issues

Np, just confused why the other guy didn't actually read the bit of my post that included the corrected file but hey! As long as people got it to work.

Nevermind I think I got it. I messed with the normals and it looks fine now. Do you know of a better way to do it? I notice most people don't even touch the roster texture files.

hi bro, is it possible to share these “venice” shoes please?

I got these from a 2k24 mod on shuajota's site so I can't really take credit. I just changed some of the formats and replaced the normals.

do you know if there is a tutorial that explains how to convert shoes from 2K24 to 2K25?

If you want to convert shoes from any 2k version, you just need to edit the shoe color dds file and drag it inside the shoe texture file(2k25) and replace the default one. Just make sure that the file name of the edited color dds files (from other version ) is exactly the same from the default dds file you want to replace. You can also replace the color dds files inside the shoe_ng_xxxx.iff if you want to replace the shoe files so all the players that wear the converted shoes is affected.. sorry if its bit confusing

you also need to copy and rename the style file if you are wanting to replace a different shoe model.

just wanted to know if there was a tutorial that showed step by step how to convert 2K24 shoes to 2K25 because I know absolutely nothing about it but I would like to learn a little

Pretty much everything is here, not sure you can convert actual models but you can use downloaded edited files as mentioned. If you have some specific questions I'll try and help

I just want to share my modded shoes, its not that much, but If you want some colors in shoes it might be enough I tried to mod all shoes but there still few I couldn't figure out .. Its good if your playing Modes that you cant load saved rosters.. Don't forget to back up your mods first. Let me know your feedback..enjoy!

I have worked a bit more out and can now make the Air Jordan 1s as generic editable in the shoe creator!

I'm currently fixing the 89 shoes with transparent parts that 2K can't do correctly!

finally learned how to convert shoes from 2k25 to be non editable shoes! it took me awhile coz there is no tutorial about it
