New to the Modding Scene and need some help.

Yo, I'm Rick, new to modding, and wanted to get help from the NLSC modders

I want to create custom jersey and court mods for NBA 2k25 this year but I don't know where to get started so I was wondering if one of you guys could show me the way.

I also wanted to know if modding custom expansion teams in MYNBA is possible because 2k's in-game team creator is broken and has been the same since 2k16.

Hi, you don't say what modding experience or tools\progs you have.
Download the court and jersey templates and have a go.
A good start is to open an existing uni or court and adding a logo or a small colour change to make sure you get things lined up and saved correctly.

Any specific questions will be answered here, or you could try a couple of the modding discord channels.

Also please share anything you learn about the process once you start figuring things out.
If we all did more of that it makes it easier for the newcomers and promotes more mods be created.

bikerjimuk, I have Paint.net,Photoshop and notepad++ also 7ZIP.

Also, I assumed the old 2k24 Jersey template would not work for 25[unless you are talking about a new template for 25 that I'm unaware of] but I got the court template.

But if I am missing any essentials could you tell me which one?

24 jerseys do work but we can't alter the tweak files, I did work out how to swap them around though

what do you change in the hex to change location of numbers? is there a tutorial anywhere

There is a Tweak file editor coming soon though which should make editing this easier.

Ok, not sure what to say about that. Maybe if you provided some more info, a screenshot perhaps or said which tweak file or how you opened it?
