CLASSIC SEASONS MOD 86-97 ** 1986 REVAMP DONE **

Does anyone know how to change short length? I have 3 jerseys I need help with for the 1996 to be released. Roster is kinda on hold until I can figure out solutions.

1) get these 3 uniform shorts shortened
2) just say screw it make them all longer going forward (just change them from short to long in roster, then start a game to see length). They start to get longer in 97 anyway I think.

Would love feedback! Unfortunately the folks I know that can help with this are just too busy with other projects now.

Working on a solution, I think.

it's basically the default in-game length vs. the 90s short length I already have. Its about 97/98 that the shorts go to that longer setting anyway.

I am also just waiting on all the new courts and then will be good to go.

its for 2k20 but works with 2k19, i've tried it myself. theres one that shortens nike shorts to retro length and one that shortens classic shorts to retro length.

I have a problem with the 1989-90 roster. As soon as I want to select the Sonics in the team select screen, the game crashes. I think it has something to do with Gary Payton, because as soon as I try to select him in the roster editor, the game crashes.

Can you tell me what you are showing for his CF ID? Mine is working. I did come across an issue with the 96 sonics and have fixed that on the new 96. I feel like I did change something a few months back because I was having an error on the 95-986 legacy team that was crashing the roster.

I'm afraid I can't tell you that at all. As soon as I want to select him in the roster, the game crashes, so I can't read the CF-ID via Cheat Engine.

Otherwise, can you tell me your ID, then I'll see if the file is missing.

I will also download everything again and overwrite the files, maybe it will work.

EDIT: re-download didn't help, it still crashes and the reason is still Gary Payton. I believe it is a early CF with hair.

Try ID face0326/png0326. Delete that and see if the error fixes. I had some problem and can NOT remember what the solution was, but I think it was that too. That is his CF ID....I think. Back it up first. I'll have more time this weekend to mess with it and maybe even tonight too.

I tried and also replaced the files with those from a player I know works. The game still crashes.

Do you have any value in the roster for Gary Payton that is causing the game to crash? Maybe a wrong value in height, weight, signature moves, some attribute or something like that? Or maybe a wrong or different value on the cyberface?

It concerns the 1990-91 and 1991-92 rosters.

Thanks guys! I am waiting on 3-4 jersey corrections for the '96 roster and I'll release it. I "rebuilt" the entire roster so the legacy errors are all gone now. Part of the reason it's taken so long to complete.

I'll try and nail down this issue too. I may DM you some ideas as well later tonight. Have a couple of ideas.

Can you guys try and change him to ID 6284? See if that works. I have his hair ID file and CF are loading just fine now. I wish I could remember what I changed to fix the crash.

Can you guys load up the default roster, see if the game crashes on the 96 sonics when you are in the play now menu? That is where my issue originally started.

Only other solution would be to upload my entire modded folder to see if that helps. I just can't remember what was causing the crash now.

Okay, I'll try to explain this as best as i can.

Yes, the '96 Sonics in the default roster crash as soon as you get to Payton.

So, for the '91 and '92 rosters I loaded them up with limnono active and then refreshed the roster, scrolled down to gary payton and did trial and error with the 6 different Gary Payton options (SEE SCREENSHOT), It sort of fixed it.

Initially, I did it on the '91 roster and i changed the first Payton to face ID 6284 and it worked and changed GP in the '91 roster to his year specific version with a flat top, I saved the roster, reloaded it and it was still the proper Payton without the crashes, I never tried playing with the SOnics in Play now or 2kU though. I closed the game, opened it again and went to the '91 roster and as soon as i hovered over PAyton it crashed again like it reverted back or something. SO I opened it again with limnono active. Limnono still showed that the first GP in the '91 roster was saved as FaceID 6284, even though it would still crash once i got to him, so I changed the second GP to 6284 and it worked again, as he was changed to the proper flat top GP. Closed the game, opened it up, loaded the roster, hit GP, it crashed again. Tried the same method with the third GP and it didn't even change him, just crashed. So, then I changed the last GP to 6284 and it changed him to the bald GP, however, it actually saved it even after exiting and restarting the game.

Tried this same method on the '92 roster just to see if maybe i could get the year specific GP for that roster, but it would crash every time without even switching him like it did for the '91 roster. So, I did the same thing as the '91 roster and changed the last GP to 6284 and it put him as the default but again saved properly and remained saved even after closing and restarting the game.

I tried this method on the '90 draft class too, eventually switching all 6 GPs to FaceID 6284, but it didn't do anything and the game crashed whenever i tried to select him.

I never tested to see if he was still crashing the '96 sonics in the default roster though.

Hey! Well, it was for awhile. Same issue you guys are having and it was centered around the Sonics (default roster would crash when trying to select the '96 Sonics). I honestly can't remember what the fix was. I think I just deleted a file and it was fine. Problem is, I don't recall which one it was. When I update my waigua folder soon it should all work correctly.

I can't remember who suggested it, a few post back, but going back to the December release might be the way to go.

I doesn't anymore. It was for awhile until I edited/deleted/added something. I am hoping to be releasing the 96 within the next few days or week I hope. Just been waiting on a couple courts that I now have and 3 jerseys to be edited properly (short length is too long, which is what they will be changed to in the 97 anyway). Heck, I almost have the 97 done now too aside from the remaining jerseys and some random tweaks. All the CFs added, 50th logo on courts, ready to go, etc.

Hopefully when I upload everything it will work properly. Hate having people have to re-download stuff, but I don't have hours and hours to spend organizing files to prevent that.

Haha! Awesome. Well, I am doing the final tweaks tomorrow/Tuesday/Wednesday while waiting on the 2 files I need. I will upload one way or the either by end of June before I go on vacation. I should have the 97 out end of summer (already have almost all the art work/CF/courts/etc.).
