For those who want to buy the game on PC

As of now, you are still able to buy the game on Steam. It seems that when removing the game from the store, 2K forgot to remove all packages that contain the game, so there is still a package left that you can buy that contains only NBA 2k14. Here is the link to the package:

Really hope that they won't patch this in the foreseeable future.

I believe that only works in some regions. When I try to view that store page in my browser, the price is displayed as $0.00 AUD and there's no way to purchase it. Fortunately there's a DVD-ROM version of NBA 2K14, but if that store page still works for you, then that's certainly another option.
