Steve wrote:Both can be done. If you rename it f.e. to sh076.fsh Melo's shoes will be replaced. If you rename it to sh174.fsh, you have a new pair of kicks. But then you will have to do some dbf editing.

Because I tried that and it didnt work
No, that won't work. I searched for Kobe's shoes in the dbf and they are listed as 075 and 076. When I opened the sh076.fsh Melo's kicks appeared. There must be some kind of code. I have no clue. Sorry.
It is possible to add new shoes to a player without customart AND without overwriting any previous shoes, the process is just a little more complicated this year than in 2004, but it's doable. I did it with Guanaco's T-Mac 4 shoes (added them to T-Mac, as his home and away shoe).
I'll post a complete tutorial about it tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, but if some of ya'll can't wait, I can tell it involves editing at least the "shoeacc.dbf", possibly also the "accessories.dbf" if you want the kicks to appear when you create a new player, too.
And to give the player the shoes, you have to find him in the "appearances.dbf" and change his HOMESHOE and/or AWAYSHOE to the ID of the new shoe... A li'l complicated, but as I said before; I'll do a tutorial about it...
