My Player builds

Hi. Would like some feedback on my build.

A 6'7 small forward focused on defense but still pretty allround:

That's a nice all-round build. My only suggestion is maybe knocking back the stamina to 85 or even 80 and putting those attributes somewhere else (if possible).

I guess it all depends on what badges you want as well since a lot of them are attribute-based. For example, I believe you need a 99 in either blocks, o- or d-boards for the HOF pogo stick badge.

I like the balance of it. Should be fun to use online and offline.

I'm now thinking of building this one after tinkering:

It's pretty similar, less finishing but a way better threepoint shot. No strength though

Another build, PG 6'3 not sure if too small

I've definitely found it harder to finish around the basket as a 6'3" point guard, though admittedly I'm not running with a build intended for slashing and dunking.

My last build I came up with is this one:



Only 6'2, but with silver bully and 88 dunk. I think he's pretty allround.

I read about the Jason Williams passing package and tried to make a build with 90 passing, but in the proces found it too expensive compared to other attributes, so went with 83 here.

Viable online, but much easier offline. Not as many souped-up, unbalanced bigs when the opponents are real players. My point guard is Playmaking Shot Creator. It's been my go-to for years now, and as someone who prefers to set up other people online and help out with a few buckets here and there, it tends to work quite well.

In hindsight, I probably should've left the standing dunk and post control at minimum, in order to pump up a couple of other ratings (including driving dunk). It's definitely lingering paranoia from previous games where having a standing dunk rating that was too low negatively impacted your dunking tendency, making it difficult to throw down dunks even if your driving dunk rating suggested it should be easy to do out on the break. Still, it gets the job done online and offline, and suits my style of play, even if the ratings distribution could've been more efficient/better min-maxed.

You weren't kidding when you said you didn't design it to score inside.

93 threepointer and gold bully. not too fast but 85 acceleration.

Now I'm considering this build (HOF bully, HOF catch and shoot, corner specialist, volume shooter, giant slayer, and gold dimer, floor general and clamp breaker and quick first step).

Yeah, my build is more about opportunistic scoring inside when the defense is lax (or finishing with a dunk on the break), consistent shooting, and setting up others. Giant Slayer helps make a few layups in traffic from time to time, but a great shot blocker who knows what they're doing will always be trouble for a smaller playmaking build. My attempts at balance definitely hold me back from being OP in certain areas.

Your passing and ball handling definitely is OP though. If you're a good dribbler and passer I imagine the build is a lot of fun.

I keep going back and forth on stuff.

Like 1 extra acceleration or one more defensive badge point... choices. lol

dropped pass accuracy by 5 and close shot some and put it into lay up

My 20 game winning streak in MyCareer just got snapped. Jokic injured.

Got my build at 85 overall now. Been wanting to play a bit of Rec but not sure if my build is ready yet. I don't have many badges.

I've had a much better time playing 3v3 Pro-Am with the guys than The Rec, but no surprises there. Last Rec game I had reminded me why it's never a good idea to go in there alone.

I just won game 1 of the Finals with a buzzerrbeater three on the break after a stop at tied game.
Came back from down 11 in the the final 2 odd minutes or so too. I hit three threes in the comeback and then the gamewinner as well.

I'm at 92 overall now and unlocked Rebirth.

I've got 46k vc left so might look into a rebirth build. maybe when I get to 100k or so
