Bug : You CANT create OR launch a roster when (Steam is) offline

Game Mode Experienced In: roster creator / play now

Can you reproduce it? How?: turn Steam Offline, try to load a saved roster from roster creator or play now

Oof, that's rough for roster modding. Although, it makes me wonder if it's by design rather than a bug. Still worth bringing up so they can hopefully change it, of course. Even putting aside external editing that is most safely done with Steam offline, that's an unhelpful limitation on roster editing functionality, period.

i think its a bug but it also means that in 2 years, in its current state, the game value will be greatly deteriorated

Absolutely. I could see it being intentional with the amount of content that requires connectivity these days, but whether it was a choice or a bug, I hope it can be resolved via a future patch.

Not sure where to post this, but I am having this problem

Bug: Random FPS drops (cutscene/in-game)

Game Mode: MyCareer only (not having the problem in myleague nor playnow)

Can you reproduce it? How?: Start MyCareer and problem occurs at least every 1-5 minutes

I had this problem as well, I verified my game files then created a desktop shortcut. Seems to have fixed it for me

Bug: contract negotiating
Gamemode: ML
when negotiating contract with any player, every time I want to reduce the salary, it instantly drop to 0

Not sure if this is a bug but..

Platform : Xbox Series X
Bug : There is no statline/player grading for the test game in player builder in MyCareer

Can you reproduce it? How?: Just create a build and choose "Test build", load up the game and see that there's no statline (except for the halftime where it shows some stats).

Anyone else getting a lot of stuttering happening when trying to scroll through players in the roster edit page? Or when using the replay viewer?

Eyeballs are warping and glitching extremely weird until they are completely white sometimes during multiple animations on PC. Happens on every baseline reverse layup. You might not notice immediately during fast gameplay but using the replay editor isn't a lot of fun like this after the first laugh of witnessing players becoming possesed. Eyeballs snapping back into place then after the end of the animation. Eye movement never looked worse in a 2K. Big step backwards and immersion breaker in comparison to older 2Ks that needs fixing. Curious if this is also present on the next gen version?

Upper release shooting forms of Middleton, George Hill and Wes Matthews are glitched on PC (hand warping completely through the ball)
Also when u blend 2 releases, on quite a lot of other shooting forms how the ball leaves the shooting hand and flies through the air at the start of the shot is completely glitched

Player DNA saving doesn't work (on PC). Nothing happens when u go to export player DNA and press save, no text window is popping up.

Blacktop player select menu is stuttering til the extreme. The more players you add, the more it stutters. Normal halftime show with shaq, ernie and kenny still bugged at 30fps like it has been since 2K20. In every other mode where they are not appearing and halftime show highlights are immediately shown it runs with 60fps/unlocked like it should. Idk why they are not caring about small easily fixable things like these

Looks like there's an issue with MyPLAYER animation selections resetting in MyCAREER on PlayStation 5 (and possibly Xbox Series X as well). At first it looked like a result of going into the Gatorade Gym, but it appears to happen randomly as well.

Bug : Players statistics mixed up with G league or other random players

Can you reproduce it? How?: Play through a myleague season. compare statistics at end of season with beginning of a new one

Why when select defense settings - half court press, they press full court? It's a bug?

This appears to be fixed (thank God!) after the latest patch. I am playing offline at the moment and was able to both load up and start new MyLeague saves with a custom roster.

I can't imagine why it would be intentional. Maybe they picked the wrong stock answer.

Them getting hacked recently truly was the icing on a very stale cake.
