Getting nba live 2000 to work on WIN10

I've tried this tutorial for nba live 2000 and I got this error:

im having the same issue idk nobody has replied in years. Matt is probably gone i haven't seen him reply to nothing in 5 years.

Hi, just saw this post. I followed what this site says and I could run the game quite well, the only issue is that strange characters appear on some text but the game run fine. Hope it helps.

Yup, works perfect on my end with the exception of the text issue that sometimes appears.

It doesn't bother me. The game functions perfectly fine.

I can also confirm that that's a common issue when running the game on Windows 10. Sometimes opening up a dropdown box or going to another screen and then back to the first one will correct it, but yeah, those characters being rendered improperly is a side effect of running it on a newer operating system and hardware.
