Yeah. EASN stands for Electronic Arts Sports Network. Before EA Sports existed, sports games released by EA had the brand name EASN. But ESPN sued EASN for violating its trademark, so EASN became EA Sports.
That's crazy how things are working out with sports videogames.First EA copied ESPN's idea with the name and released games on the sega genesis. Now Sega Sports games become ESPN games and they are competing each year against EA.
I have been in Sicily the last two weeks and the host family I came in, had one new computer and one old with SNES games. There was one game called:
Jordan vs. Bird (with dunkcontest , 3pt contest and one-on-one)
also made by EA (Sports or EASN)
forreal? i dont remember that game yo
first it was Dr. J vs Bird then they next was Jordan vs Bird and then after that it was Lakers vs Celtics
the only game i believe that had Magic's name on it was Magic Johnson's fast break and that didnt have real nba teams in it
I do have a question about the old Bulls vs Lakers and Bulls vs Blazers games. Can you watch the computer play against the computer in those two games. I know in Lakers vs Celtics you could but I'm not sure about the other two. The reason I ask this (man I shouldn't admit this) I use to watch the CPU vs CPU and keep score and do my own tourny. I did this with lakers vs celtics and the nba lives. But I threw out all the paper work and was thinking about doing it again. But before I go to my moms house and dig out the old Genesis and search for the games I just couldn't recall if bulls vs blazers lets you do this. Thanks
