Hi, I'm new to modding, so I'm sorry if this sounds dumb. For the smooth headband mod, can you explain "drag into your global"? Is there a file named global I need to place these in? Can I just drag into my waigua folder? Is it my steam>2K20 folder?

First, you need to have your global.iff. Open it using winrar. It contains a bunch of DDS textures and other stuff.
Just drag the file of that smooth headband mod inside your global file. Or you can just select the Add file option.
Once done, close the global.iff file and put it in the waigua folder.

Amazing work on all of this, really makes the game stay alive.

Question: Did you ever figure out how to change that splash screen? I've never seemed to be able to find it either...

anybody mind sharing how exactly does one put these music files into the mod? Like does it go in the waigua folder?

in your waigua, create a folder named newaudio. Inside of newaudio, create a folder called jukeboxmusic. In jukeboxmusic, paste all of your music files. You can do this with your game open or closed, it should apply when you select a new song.

yeah this didn't work. is there maybe a step missing? Like do i neew to use hook or trainer? do i need to go in somewhere and extract all music files and put them in here. i have done exactly what you said and it unfortunately didnt work

did you create wav files with Looyh's converter and rename them in place of the jukebox music? For this you won't need the hook, just the waigua plugin.

Has anyone been able to get the music mod to work? Because like Brendan above, I've followed these steps exactly and it's no dice for me either.

With the update, the extracted folder is labelled eventmusic. But the original release you're pointed to download first is labelled jukeboxmusic. (?)

@Mahmood you made a load up logo screen for 2k21 but do you know if thats possible in 2k20? I made the load up screen with retro logos but it skips over that screen after launch and brings up the next one.
