Player shadows "burned" into court

Postby ask1 on Wed Nov 03, 2004 8:56 am

During the course of a quarter, several player shadows get burned into the court (PC version). Anyone else experience this, or know how to fix it? I'm using a GeForce FX5900 card.

I doubt it. ASUS GeForce FX5900 - pretty standard issue. I have the latest drivers installed.

It's probably a driver issue. Just because you have new drivers does not mean it will be 100% error free with Live. EA will probably patch this up if not Nvidia will address it in later driver releases. Try rolling back drivers and see if this still happens. If it doesn't then you know it's a certain driver version that is causing that error. Email EA and/or Nvidia and tell them of this issue. I own Knights of the Old Republic and it basically crashes during random loads with any Catalyst version past 4.2. Since Bioware did not release any more patches for the game and it was a driver issue basically a TON of ATI owners emailed ATI and they made a hot fix for it which will be available in Catalyst 4.11. Point being harass EA and Nvidia for patches. If more people do it it will become a priority (especially if it is a specific issue) and they will react appropriately by releasing a patch.

i guess as long as they don't become overwealming, they shouldn't affect your gameplay that much
