nba2k22mods wrote:im looking now and it seems rather nice, it's asking me if i want to install an application, install a benchmark, install a game, select the default wineprefix, create new wineprefix, or enable silent install.

XanKJ wrote:Mods are thrown into the mods folder, in the game folder. The one that was in the archive with the hook. I'm glad that everything worked out.

Download the hook, unpack it into the game folder. If it doesn't work right away, then you need to add "dinput8.dll " in the wine settings. If you play through steam, then you need https://github.com/Matoking/protontricks . Install it, then enter the command "protontricks --gui" in the terminal. Choose a game, the next menu is just OK, the next choice is "winecfg", here is the "Libraries" tab, in the first field you choose "dinput8.dll " click add and apply. Everything is ready, you can close all these menus and start the game, it should work.

Select the default wineprefix. Then "winecfg", in the window that opens go to the "libraries" tab, in the "new override" field select "dinput8.dll " and click add, then apply and you can close all windows and check if mods work.
