I was thinking about Gordon, but with Banks and Payton at the same posistion I would have to trade one of them. And I don't know if I want to ship Payton away, and I don't think that the Bulls would except Banks.

Yea, Rip went to UCONN I wasn't even thinking about him. Good thing I post a dynasty, lol.

I decided to sim two games they were both wins. The first game was a 94-89 victory over the Knicks and the second game was a 106-96 victory over the Trail Blazers. From now on I am going to play a game and then sim one so I can get through the season quicker.

Bobcats Upset Celtics In 2OT

Image

All of Boston was frowning when Paul Pierce went down with a leg injury with just 6:08 left in the first half. Pierce did come back, and he almost won the game for the Celtics in many instances.

With just 1:31 seconds left Paul Pierce tied the game up with a 3pt, but Justin Reed's last second shot didn't fall.

Even in overtime Pierce had a chance to win the game but he missed the jumpshot.

Finally with just seconds left in the second overtime, Pierce missed a shot.

In his Celtics debut Emeka Okafor had 8 points, and 2 blocks.

Paul Pierce,55 points, wholly smokes thats impressive even in double ot nice dynasty. trade is alright, not too realistic. but if the huskies are your team i cant blame ya. you ever think about an all uconn team? gordon, hamilton, ray allen, emeka okafor, Jake voshkul? idk about big jake at center maybe im not thinkin straight about who you could put at center or power forward other than him

Thanks for checking in. I know I forgot to post this but towards the end of the game Pierce was the only one capable of scoring really. McCarty, Davis, and Okafor all were fouled out by the middle of the first overtime.

As for the all UCONN team, who knows. One trade may lead to another and before you know it I may have a lineup full of Huskies.

Thanks for checking in Future, just wondering, are you the same "The Future" from Madden Mania?

As for the trade, I know that the Bobcats would never trade Okafor but I couldn't do anything with LaFrentz and his salary was amazingly high, plus, I love my Huskies.

Glad that you have been following this from the start. I never expected to get this much feedback because I was new to the boards. Thanks

just a word of advise from a fellow celtic dynasty user. you need to move the ball around more and find the open man. i noticed you only had 3 assits after the 3rd.

on another note, i like that you are starting walter. guy is my second best player right now(behind pierce) and i still got him coming off the bench after 8 games. i am trying to leave jefferson in the lineup but i might have to bite the bullet soon and let walter get the spot, he clearly has earned it. tell you one thing right now, if i ever use another dynasty i will trade for walter right away.

Thanks for the reply. Right now I am thinking that Pierce and Walter are the only ones who can score. I have to cut down on the fouls if I want to be succesfull.

C's Win A Squeaker

Image
Okafor is looking good so far.

Tim Duncan vs. Emeka Okafor... Who do you think would win that match-up? Tim Duncan, the two-time league MVP, right. Think again. Okafor completed his second double-double of his career against the San Antonio Spurs. Duncan had a double-double of his own by getting 14 Rebounds and 25 points. Mannu Ginobilli had 26 points, the most out of both teams.

The final score of this game was Celtics 90-89. The Celtics won thanks to a slam by Walter McCarty with just 9 seconds left.
