Latest update

What is the deal with this latest 2K22 update? It's taking forever to load, been over an hour and it hasn't finished. Says it's verifying.

I've noticed the PC patches have been incredibly slow to install compared to other platforms because of that verification process. Just the way it's been coded this year, it seems.

It's maddening. Also after playing about 3 times, it asks you for your username and pw before you can continue to load the game. Why did they add that to the game?

I haven't encountered that yet. Every update has been like that though, and generally affected performance while doing other things as it's in progress (though admittedly I don't have an SSD).

I've only just updated mine and now it keeps crashing on loadup just as it gets to all the team logos. Frustrating!

New update is running fine for me - the only thing is the game seems to hang when it is transitioning to the halftime report.

It's almost like the game is about to crash and freezes - then eventually comes out of it. Anyone else experience this?
