OHSAA Mod

Hello everyone,

I am working on a high school roster for NBA 2K22 involving some of my local high school teams in the state of Ohio. I have never modded NBA 2K. Is someone willing to help me make some courts, jerseys, and logos for my teams? I believe I have 70-ish teams right now. If you are interested in helping me with this mod, please let me know. I would really appreciate it.

No not yet. I'm a boys basketball coach at a high school so I've been busy with the actual season. I plan on starting the teams after my research of the teams current uniforms, floors and gyms.

So some more info as promised.

The Mod
This mod will be released in two phases. Phase I will replace the 30 default NBA teams and the 30 all-time teams with a mix of the top teams from around the state of Ohio. In addition, there will be several classic teams, out of state teams, and a few Ohio high school teams that play outside the confines of the OHSAA. Phase II will replace the all of the classic teams.

Playoffs
Using the functionality of the 2kHook tool, we'll be able to have a separate mod folder for both the play in tournament and playoffs, allowing you to play those games at the real regional sites across the state, culminating in the state final at the University of Dayton.

All Star Weekend
Play with the top recruits from the area and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association Showcase at Mount Vernon Nazarene University.

A few more notes
-There is an excellent fictional high school mod out there, but no elements from that mod will be included in this one. This mod is not meant to step on anyone's toes or steal anyone's work. If I do use any other mods in their entirety or in elements, it is 100% my plan to ASK first and then give proper credit. If you have anything you want to contribute, please hit me up here.
-I don't have a release date in mind so please don't ask. Like everyone here, I've got a full time job, kids, and a wife who requires my attention and I'm not getting paid for this. My friend Brady up top also works full time. It will get done when it gets done.
-You can track the mods progress and see the full list of teams in their entirety on the Google Spreadsheet below. I am looking forward to sharing something awesome with the community soon.

All-Star Weekend will be replaced in game by the real like Ohio High School Basketball Coaches Association Showcase event at Mount Vernon Nazarene University. These uniforms may look overly simple, but this is exactly what dozens of top recruits wore at the event earlier this season.

Currently working on a UD Arena using Robdavis outstanding work from last year's NCAA mod as a base. Created a floor and currently working on Dornas.


In addition here are some court previews. I've done a lot of work quietly over the past year. Some logos have been redrawn from scratch in Illustrator and I've combed hours of youtube footage of games and highlights to make them as accurate as possible. The North College Hill one in particular took a very long time to piece together as they don't use the center court logo seen here ANYWHERE else. One other issue I haven't solved yet is the 3 point line. I chose to render accurate floors over an accurate line, so the "real" line may be off by a foot or so in some spots. It's an issue I hope to solve eventually.

Question for any crowd/arena modders who may be reading this however. Is it possible to edit crowds so that a "normal" crowd shows during the playoffs/finals instead of everyone in the same shirt?

I dont know about the playoff crowd but I may be able to make your highschool 3 pt line useable. Try changing the court type/ arena type to ncaa in 2k tools.

I know it aeems like that would be for college but if I recall that is the highschool 3pt line setting

Hello modders,

I'm currently helping Johnny with this mod. Me and him got a quick question to help improve this mod. Is it possible for a stripe like in the photo to go all the way around the high school gym? I think this would add some realism to the high schools gym. If it is possible, please let us know! Thank you for your interest in our mod.

Here are some more screenshots of UD Arena, home of the State Championship. I redid their floor from scratch. Also included will be the real ads and dornas on the sidelines.

Here's a shot of Unioto Sherman Tanks playing in the same arena against SVSM. Why such an unusual name? Turns out this area was once home to a large M4 Sherman Tank factory during WWII.

Now for a modding question. Does anyone know how to change the text of the signs being held up by the fans here? I looked in the 2ktool extractor and am unsure what file is linked to it.
