Safe to say we're even more excited about that mod after playing such a fun H2H game with it.

man, that NBA live 96 (PC) brings back memories. I still have that CD-Rom copy; I thought it look great back then...looking at it now; so many players skating.

You definitely do notice some odd animations! Still a blast to play, though.

It was great to get back to our makeshift classic teams showdowns. Still plenty of options there, too!

I thought I was done when you pulled ahead in the fourth, and even when I got the lead, I didn't feel safe until the final buzzer. I got lucky/you got unlucky with a couple of Pierce's misses in crunch time. Could've very easily gone the other way.

NBA Live 2001 is becoming another game that I'm really warming up to in retrospect. I did have fun with it back in the day and I don't disavow all of my previous criticisms, but hindsight being 20/20, we probably were a little harsh on it. Expectations were very high after NBA Live 2000 of course, and the change to a new codebase brought some teething problems. Still, there's a lot I actually like about it.

It's a rough enough game as it is, but the emulator audio glitch that results in the soundtrack being played at double speed made for some added hilarity!

Xenia is a great emulator, with one major weakness..... audio glitches. But hey, they are still working on it, so they could possibly be fixed at some point in the future.

It works superbly apart from that, for sure. Still amazing we've been able to do all this.
