Thank you. Glad you;re enjoying it.
Yeah, I've noticed that. I think I'll have a new face for him.

Thank you so much eda.
Wonderful project, wonderful mod and wonderful achievement.
It's an incredible pleasure to play with these historic teams.

If someday you want to work on such a project for Historic European Clubs, let me know if I can help!!!!

On the other hand, do you plan to add other historic national teams (from World Cups/Championships also) ?
May I suggest 2000 France, 1994 Russia, 1990 Yugoslavia, 1988 USSR, 1995 "Serbia", 2004 Greece, 2002 Yugoslavia among others ?

Thanks again!!!!

Thank you very much for a kind word
AS for adding more teams, I mentioned that if there's a person who's willing to work on faces of the team, then I'll gladly make the roster.
I'd like to keep this project as an Olympic, though.
I'd gladly add Greece 2004, France 2012, 2016.

Besides, is there a way to use custom roster players in Blacktop?

Re: Olympic Basketball History v1 RELEASED!

It might have to do with the number of teams considered classic teams compared to the All-Star (special) teams in the Current NBA Teams pool. The All-Star teams can only be accessed through Quick Play, and this is probably the cause of the limited choices in Blacktop. You might be able to change them, but you'll run into additional issues with divisional settings, team IDs, etc (be sure to edit from a backup save). Unfortunately, the only two options are to experiment with roster editing using 2K20Tools or create another roster dedicated to Blacktop mode by overwriting teams in the default roster.

Coming from experience with 2K14, editing rosters for Blacktop mode can be a pain.

RayRay_953, thanks for the reply.
I'd give it a try if there was a simple process.. But it's not something I want desperately :)

As I said before, if there were faces and Jersey,i probably would add a team.
Although I'd like to keep it an Olympic history.

Even if that Croatian team didn't win the gold, they were arguably one of the best teams outside the USA. Kukoc had a fine role on the Bulls, even winning a few NBA titles in the process. Drazen was in the makings to be a big star prior to the unfortunate accident (the '93 Nets are one of my favorite underachieving teams). Radja might not have been considered an elite big man, but you can't call yourself a Celtics fan without appreciating Dino's stint in Boston.

Glad you like it (Y) What I do is simply play on lower difficulty level. I'm not into sliders adjustment.
The important thing is to have fun :)

Olympic history lesson #9: We're home

The 1984 Los Angeles Olympics marked the first Olympic basketball competition held in the United States. And, with the U.S. men’s and women’s basketball teams winning gold, 1984 was the first time a single nation won both tournaments in the same year.
***
Following the USA not participating in the 1980 Olympics in Moscow, the Soviet Union, along with seventeen other countries, boycotted the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
***
Michael Jordan, who also won gold at the 1992 Olympics, made his Olympic debut at the 1984 Games, and he averaged a team-high 17.1 points per game.
***
Like Jordan, Patrick Ewing and Chris Mullin made their Olympic debuts in 1984 and returned to win gold in 1992 as well.
