GAMEPLAY:

• Fixed a rare issue in which a made shot will not count after a defensive goaltending violation occurs.
• Fixed an improper animation transition that allowed players to unrealistically change momentum and direction when branching from a quick stop move to a hop step gather.
• Fixed an issue that caused zeroed out stats to display on the match up screen in the REC.

MyTEAM:

• Addressed an issue preventing the “Somewhere over the…” Trophy/Achievement from being unlocked on PS4 /XB1 when the Unicorn Ball is obtained on PS5/Xbox Series X|S.
• Fixed player reveal walkouts when ‘Flip All’ is used while highlighting a Dark Matter player card.

GENERAL

• Lots of preparation for Season 3 of NBA 2K22, launching this Friday at 8AM PT/11AM ET/4PM GMT!
• A Gatorade app is now available on the in-game phone when on the cruise ship
• Slowed down lateral dribble launches and added a shooting penalty that applies for players who zig-zag from side to side excessively before shooting
• Fixed an issue that was causing ball handlers to hitch and slow down when running in transition
• Adjusted the Intimidator badge to apply to jump shots in addition to dunks and layups

MyTEAM

• Fixed an issue with Free Throws not visually tallying points in the in-game Agenda Tracker
• Prevented Series I Agendas from qualifying for all players in the Agenda Tracker
• Certain Event Cards will now display their names in Auction Outcomes
• Addressed a few stats that were not updating in the MyTEAM menus

Information on the patches has been scarce so far to say the least, hence the lack of useful detail here. I'll update the first post with whatever info comes along, for future and already released patches. Hopefully, we'll get more detailed notes moving forward.

my games just updated today and after the update the courts mods not working on nba 2k22 hook 0.6

I'm guessing the Hook tool will be updated in due course.

So, were the new cyberfaces just for next-gen or something? Not seeing them after the patch.

The patch notes seem to suggest so, though previously Current Gen has received the same updates as Next Gen. They might be in a forthcoming update.

Incidentally, the PC patch has now come through.

I noticed patch 1.8 on steam was 11gb. Maybe I'm mistaken, but I don't remember previous patches being so large.

It was definitely larger than usual. Smaller fixes tend to be a few hundred MB at most, where as previous updates that have included new content have been up in the 2 GB range.

Anybody else experiencing some kind of issue with the PA announcers of Miami and Portland after the update?

New Current Gen patch is out. It's currently only available on PS4 and X1, but seeing as though it includes updates for the new Season beginning this Friday, I imagine the PC patch will be coming through shortly. Notes below!

Other than scans what else did they update?

Possibly tattoos. The Next Gen patch notes seem to be more detailed when it comes to stuff like that, and I believe most of those updates make it into Current Gen as well.
