The Lakers are looking pretty stacked on paper. Of course, we'll see how evenly the credit is distributed after the season.

As with the Nets, it comes down to which team is healthy come playoff time.
Always drama with Kyrie;

I like the moves that the Bulls have made. It hasn't propelled them to the status of legit contenders or anything, but I expect they'll finally be out of the basement and fun to watch.

After a solid off-season, if they're not a lower seed playoff team in the east, heads should roll.

Agreed, probably starting with Billy Donovan. The talent's there on paper.

Giddey looked good in his first pre-season game. No doubt he will be getting a decent amount of playing time on that rebuilding OKC team this season. Should be fun
(video has low sound for some reason)

Hope he does well. I'll always cheer for Aussies in the NBA.

At some point, the team has to take the next step. Bulls are out of excuses. IMO, Donovan should be on the clock....playoffs or else.

Absolutely. There's enough talent to be competitive and in the mix at the very least.

Just tank, trade for LaMelo, sign Gelo, and you've got the Bulls Balls.

The bigger issue for me here is what the FBI agent said. He stated that the industry loses 10s of billions of dollars per year and that those losses are passed on to paying businesses and customers. Don't they have INSURANCE for that? Why are we paying extra because you can't secure your fucking business? I'm not feeling very assured or insured, here.

In a statement, the NBA called the allegations "particularly disheartening" because the benefit plans provided by the league and the National Basketball Players Association are critically important to support players' health and well-being throughout their careers and post-retirement lives.
It's a shame, because the players fought hard for this, and rightfully so. It's great that there have been more efforts to support former players, especially those that came along before salaries really took off as the league became globally popular and profitable. Those 18 players may have jeopardised the situation for a lot of innocent NBA alumni, to say nothing of the further reaching impact it'll have on other people.

Good for Sean Marks and the Nets - enough of Kyrie's drama.

No surprises there. Hard to build chemistry when he's guaranteed to not be there for half the season.

I've been watching a ton of basketball this week, Luri I think is gonna be solid in Cleveland, zero pleasure on him here.
Same for Dennis Smith Jr in in Portland, get them out of the spotlight and they are shining

For the first time in nearly a decade, I'm actually looking forward to a Knicks season. They open tonight against the Celtics.
Curious to see how the Ben Simmons situation in Philly gets resolved.
