Problem with Graphics

Whenever I start dunk contest or 3-pt contest on maximum graphics, i get wierd lines coming all over the screen, but if i just put enviornment to medium it works fine. My video card i nice enuff, i play madden 05 on maximum setting and every other game also. Can anybody suggest wuts goin on.
