I moved this thread to the NBA 2K17 modding section.

Nice work! These releases are going to make some guys in this section happy, we have some people working on a 20-21 roster.

I've been doing conversions as well, the hair doesn't always come out great when converting from the newer 2Ks, but they are serviceable.

Are you converring these from 2K14 and using 2K17s existing hairstyles?

You're welcome, glad the tutorial is getting used!

The hairstyles that I want are often not in 2K17 (like Carsen Edwards), so I sometimes feel forced to do the conversion with the original hair.

Your Vucevic conversion came out great though, well done.

Very confused, and honestly frustrated with the links here.

We discourage the use of ad.fly, but we do not ban members for using it, or take down links as long as the mods are attainable and free of charge.


However, the unbelievable amount of popups and excess web pages I was bombarded with after clicking on one of your links here is immediate cause for concern. I wasn't even able to get to the mod itself, so I can't even answer the question for the user above on whether the mod is free or not.

My question for the OP: are the pennies made really worth the users hassle and possible installation of viruses/malware, web browser attacks, etc? I understand modders work hard, that you work hard, etc. But the community was built on free, open source mods, and that is the way it should remain.

Are these mods free of charge? If so, do you plan on making them easier to access for the community?

I went in and removed the links on your first post. Here is why

1. I received notifications that you are charging for mods, and asking people via PM to pay you for said mods.
2. The links themselves were not safe. They jeopardize the communities safety, as they were LOADED with pop ups, browser viruses, possible malware, etc. We cannot operate this way as a community
3. I personally could not even get to a download because of it, and my computer was sounding off all sorts of alarms when I tried one of your links.

Can you tell me if you plan on being a forum member here who follows the rules, and is fair to the community? This is a fair question. We can't compromise modding or the safety of this community.

If I don't hear back, I will be locking this thread.

So instead of answering me and working things out, and posting appropriate links for the community that didn't put their computers at risk... and instead of releasing mods for free and following the NLSC rules, you change all of your posts to a clapping emoji and your handle to Demo21O (copying Demo210)

Why continue on that path? What are you accomplishing here?

I don't think the NLSC is the place for you.
