Ohio High School Mod

Hello all. I'm working on a fictional roster of high school teams from the Buckeye state. Going to start with 36 of the top teams throughout the state and go from there. Here are some screenshots of what I've been working on. Still have a long way to go as I learn more about modding, but I wanted to share. Feedback/help welcome.

Some more looks at St. Vincent-St. Mary, including a classic rendition of one of the uniforms Lebron wore there. I managed to copy the hanging baskets from the ProAm arena (copying from RobDavis small gym mods gave me a weird error), but I've got no idea how to make the square show up around the rim. If anyone has a clean working folder with just hanging basket data they are willing to share, that would be great.

Great Work, was trying to make a High School Roster myself but i couldnt work out to make changes to court like you have, looking forward to it

I created the template myself based on a combination of others. The unfortunate tradeoff is that the 3 point line, while appearing more realistic like a high school court, is slightly off in game. But I'd rather have that and realistic looking courts than the opposite.

What do you mean by the tradeoff is the 3pt line? do you mean its still the NBA 3pt line, i have not seen a post or tutorial anywhere about this, while using the NBA2K21 Tools and you can go to edit the court and scroll down there is a section that says TYPE and has all different options High School type is classed as NCAA and the College is classed as Short, ive tried it before on the nba court and they shot the 3pt as if it is college and visa versa, havent test High school as i have not been able to create the 3pt line myself to test it but if you didnt know about that please test it, thanks

Definitely putting that to use. It makes a huge difference in how the mod looks and feels. Some screens of North College Hill (home of all time bust OJ Mayo) vs St Bernard-Elmwood Place.

looks good... you can change that padding color under backboard in the 1st pic as well.

A couple of additional previews: The Oyler Madhatters (Cincinnati) and the Springfield Wildcats (Springfield). You can see the custom fans, which really adds to the atmosphere. Working on pulling a small crowd that can be swapped into the old Orlando Summer Gym, just gotta figure out where. Sack Wern kinda works, but there are floating fans with no seats under them. Team list coming soon.

Things I'd like to figure out:
-changing the outfits (or at least the colors) of the kids dance team and the guys tossing t shirts out.
-moving items (such as non slip mats, banners, score tables, mop guys, camera guys, etc) from one gym to another
-assigning jackets and t shirts as warm ups. I know it's something in the CRC32 code, but I don't know how.
-scoreboard. I thought I saw an high school style overlay somewhere, just need to convert it somehow?

Great tutorial.
Have you tried to edit the crowd_key_color_slice.DDS ?
It is used to overlay some of the crowd (shirts, suits etc) but I can't seem to find the correct dds setting to save a new one

Download this simple viewer. It shows the DDS types. WTV

Not sure if you can edit that instead I added a overlay on top of some of the suits shirts and turned the opacity down

Thanks for that Bassman, I got the format using WTV and can save new ones using paint.net

He is on break right now. He said that should be working on it soon. He is doing some teams for me as well.

Hi everyone. Finally done with school and getting back into this mod. I'll be releasing this in two parts. The first version will replace 60 teams with teams from all across the state. @BradyMcKee is helping with rosters for several of them. In addition, several out of state and all star teams will be included. A spreadsheet listing teams is below:

Figured out how to move things from one arena to another and added a better scorer's table (with realistic dornas) to the small high school gyms. Will be adding even more small things later. Here is Marion Local out of Maria Stein (and 2019 D4 state champs). Only issue I have left with these small gyms is the camera angles which often cut off the screen or point at a pitch black area.
