"Error in .json file" Fix?

Postby jtd28 on Fri Dec 11, 2020 6:56 am

Hi, this is my first time making a model on Blender and I finally sculpted my head and shrink-wrapped it onto a 2k model. But when I try to export I get an "Error in .json file", does anybody know how to fix this? I tried downloaded different versions of blender and looking for fixes online but nothing is working. I am currently on Blender 2.8.

Moved to the modding section.

Note: make sure you are exporting into a different destination than where the file was imported from.

Usually I have a folder titled "edited", or "converted" where I export the newly edited model to.

I made sure I am exporting to a different location from where I imported. I think it could be an issue with json_parser.py, when I installed that add-on I had to directly install both python files separately because my blender doesn't install the add-on when I click the nba2k_tools folder. Am I doing that wrong?

I had to do the same thing I believe.

Maybe someone else can jump in and help you troubleshoot.
