Using a PES Editor years ago, a good idea (i guess) to implement : edit +/- attribute(s) for all players / position / teams, same for the badge

its already exists . just click right mouse button or lower right button in player editing window attribute or badge tab.

EDIT: ok you mean all players.

yeah, global edit, per position.
For example, you could
- enable / disable one or many badges for all players or all PG (or any other position)
- add/remove x pts for each attribute (shot / speed) for every PG

here's a screenshot of the gobal functions of tool i used back then :

So I did some rebranding with Thunder Shaq's 96-97 mod. At a certain point whenever I try to access the teams, players, jerseys etc. the tool crashes. Any reason why that would be the case?

It happens with me too.
I rebranded almost all of the teams in MyLeague (default roster) but the tool crashes everytime i try to access those tabs.

Is it probably a bug from 2K itself?

It seems like as soon as there was at least on rebrand you cannot use the tool anymore.

More details? I tested on rebrand(I downloaded a team design from game server), this issue did not reproduce.

Is there a way to copy with that tool playbooks from one file to another?
Maybe they are related to the Coach info or hidden?

Looyh great work bro but I have a question off topic. I'm trying I'm converting 2k18 scoreboards to 2k20 and noticing that the team colors are always red and blue no matter the team and the notification bar does not hide properly. I would greatly appreciate your advice please. I just need someone to point me in the right direction and I can do it myself. I'm converting one of your old scoreboards Portland northwest.

I been trying out this tool & I see that it even has the park dunks listed but still won't work. Is there a way this tool can make the park dunk animations work for all animations in a future update?

Yeah I didn't have this issue initially when I started re-branding teams. But one time when I saved and came back to the save and tried to access the tool, it crashed and then after that I couldn't access it with the MyLeague Save. Perhaps when I edited a custom team that was originally in the save, it messed things up.

It doesn't happen after one rebranding, but after some of them, after the 4th or 5th

Yes. The internal game reaches some point when you can't rebrand. After that the tool was crashing for me as well. It worked fine on my roster edits outside of the rebrand myleague.

looyh is so very paitient with y'all :) haha

why don't you just rebrand one team... save... then load the roster next and do another, then save again.
now it that still crashes after 3 or 5 or 10 teams... well, we will just consider it an acceptable loss considering the functionality of the rest of the tools features.
not every tool is absolutley perfect, especially without the source.

you do realize that this is program is holding all values in ram, then swapping out memory values on the fly...
roster file has not been decrypted due to its dependence on sync.bin and temp.bin... nobody has the time to dig through GB of data... especially in our free time.

the tool is amazing Looyh. thanks for making it.

Ah I see, I didn't know there was a limit that the game internally can take. Good to know for the future. Thank You. I really like this tool regardless.

Oh I know, a thousand thanks will never be enough for what looyh is doing for the 2K modding community :applaud:

BTW, i found a workaround too: I started a new MyLeague online, selected a random team, edited everything and uploaded on my designs. After that, I edited again and uploaded in another slot. With this method, i had 15+ designs (also downloaded and reuploaded in my slots).
So with the tool I edited 6 expansion team to be Normal Teams, saved the roste, started a new personalized MyLeague with 36-teams, and finally download the designs, and it worked, but ofc I lost the use of the Tools with this save.

The only thing i can't get done are the colors of the scoreboard (unfortunately the rebranded teams have all the "-1 ID" in the hook) and records data, and these tabs were what i wanted to mod, I was hoping that the crash was something fixable, but if it's connected to the stupid limits 2K has, I can't complain.

Hey Looyh,

If or when you do another update do you think it will be possible for us to edit MyLeague history stats and awards?

For example, I changed a players PPG stats for one season in where he lead the league in scoring. It was changed on his player's card but when you look at league history it will still show him as the league leader with the amount of points I "wanted" to change.

For example his players card was changed correctly to 24.4PPG but on the Myleague history tab on the game it still says 33.2PPG

thanks
