Is their a way to improve the perimeter defense. I'm running past everyone and penetrating the defense with ease. Its just like todays nba. I dont even need to run plays.

Yes...that will be the main problem of this mod...this game gives you no possibility to have good perimeter defense

Not sure I agree it will be a problem, playbooks for all teams as well as the sliders have been edited ..

And I have great results

I can tell you that this thread is the reason I bought 2K20 last night. I thought I would skip out on it this year just because I feel 2K has been a bit stagnant now for the last couple of years, but this thread and mod got me hyped. The 95-96 season is my favorite season. A great year for basketball and the Chicago Bulls, and also alot of feelings of nostaliga for me, personally.

Extremely excited for this mod. Being a teen in the 90s, this is how I remember basketball! Cannot wait to try it out and see all of my favorite (and hated) players. I don't even want to start a new MyLeague because I'm waiting for two specific rosters (yours being one of them). Great work so far!

The other one is Ultimate Retro Roster NBA 2k20 by Thunder Shaq. That roster is amazing and works for Play Now modes, but it keeps crashing when trying to start a MyLeague, so I'm waiting and hoping for a fix for that. The roster itself is amazing and the work Thunder Shaq has put in is incredible.

That one and this one are the ones that have gotten me the most excited for sure!

That's certainly what needs to happen, as those are our rules regarding Patreon releases. What you do outside our jurisdiction is up to you and whatever rules are in place there, but we're not going to allow paid mods - which Patreon-exclusive releases are - nor free advertising for them on our platform. There are reasons why we don't allow it, but since a precedent has been set with the use of Patreon, we've added the rule that sticky-fingers quoted as a compromise for people using it.

If this mod is going to be Patreon-exclusive, then this topic can't proceed. If the full mod is made available within a week as per the rules, that's fair, but it would be best to mention it. As it is, it already feels like the community was misled and strung along, and an attempt made to sneak a link to a Patreon-only release in through the posted video. I hope that I'm wrong and reading too much into that, but if not, I reiterate that Patreon-exclusive mods can't be promoted here, and that any early access releases through Patreon need to be made publicly available within a week if they're to be promoted on the NLSC.

i will adress this matter just once, in a very objective and educated way, anyone who feels different , i would appreciate you to make objective comments.

I understand the rules, of not publicly promoting paid mods, which i havent done so far, it was another user that i approached per PM ( for purchase reasons ) that i´ve also asked to remove the link.

My last post with the youtube post, was not a sneaky way of doing things, i just avoided posting a direct link, as forbidden.

I know that other modders get the benefit of the doubt, that i wont get, because of the past, which is fair.....

The plan for me was to have this mod available for everyone, as i did in 2k17.

After time, i realised that some users took my work and resold it on other sites, and i never even got a benefit from it

Making money off this , is not the main quest here, i want people to enjoy it as it fullest , like i do

But ive seen so many people taking advantage from stuffs that i have done and worked immensely on,(not only mine ) and is it fair to you ?

i am not asking for a rule change , who am i to do that ?

But i think there´s some other parameters to look at , if someone feels to have his stuffs for free , he should do that

If someone else does not , why should he be criminized for it , when other truly sneaky people will take advantage of it ?

So we´re rewarding the people who steal work, and the other who is honest, and just want to have some kind of reward , is a criminal ??

Really ?? eveybody who has made a roster, maybe someone who has buy this mod,.recognize how much ressources went into this

I had many people ( over 60 emails ) telling me , why is my roster so cheap ? when we know that modders (face makers) ask for at least 12 dollars per face

so in this roster, i have over 200 FACES done, jersey(one ) courts, dornas , stadiums ,work on the Cheat enggine, the headshots, the portraits , my free time ....etc - DO THE MATH

and expecting people to donate, is certainly not what i will rely on ..

and all of this work , i would release it, someone steaks it(which will be done ) as in the past .. he gets the full credit monetary

and i come out empty of this ? is it fair, i would really like to have this question answered ..

As i said, its not a monetary goal , i am seeking, just some kind of reward for the hard work,that has been done

I stand by my decision, that its not fair fo have someone else getting rewarded , of course i know that sold stuffs get resold somehow

thats just the nature of the business. Many other modders who have left the forum feel the same

So lets not assassinate the charachters from people who wants an honest reward ..
