Old PS3 Era files

Has there ever been a tool that can extract the 0A, 0B, etc. files in the ps3 era of games?

I can't recall any such tools making the rounds here. We have admittedly mostly been a PC modding community, though.

In the newer games, I believe those archives can be opened with 7-Zip. That might be worth a try if you haven't already.
