One question, im switching between Dest retro roster and shaq thunder, how do i manually modify the config file to add these dornas to other rosters that would be using Michaelvlutz retro stadiums

A few things you should know:
1. Each stadium handles dornas differently. They may be displayed in a different order if you use a dorna for a different arena.

2. In order to add the dornas on a config, you need the team ID. It looks like DEST is using hidden classic team ID's on his roster, so that would be a good place to start. Digging in and finding them can be very tedious and require a lot of guessing, but it can be done. My go-to technique if nothing else works is to assign a newscorebug to 100 teams at a time on the config. From there, you can keep cutting in half until you arrive at the ID #.

3. Once you have the team ID's, it gets easier. Classic teams with the NBA 2K dornas use two files: "dornas/generic/2ksports_05.iff" and "dornas/generic/nba2k_05.iff". Teams that display anything other than those will have to be located in the manifest. They're all in the dorna folder. You can redirect them in the config to any dorna file you have in your "waigua" just like any other file.

4. I would recommend doing separate configs for each roster because there will be overlap. I have a batch script that will copy a folder into 2K_Hook and run the game. Mod Automation Toolkit

I don't know if any of that helps, but the bottom line is to do anything with the config files, you need team id's.

So without knowing the team ID's on his roster i can't assign the dornas above to the bulls, even if the same bulls teams remain untouched, he didn't modify the 1980s to 1990s teams

I would be thankfull if you could add these to your modded config. I think its easier 1 person does that. Of course you have to like my mods enough. Im kind of new to this so im not really good yet. Otherwise all dornas come from the right season and are based on real images. The player tunnels are also correct but as you know the amount of dornas and ads are very limited.

It would be great if you an inform what file it is your are removing from those arenas or have removed like with the 77 76ers file. I use the retro arenas from michael v lutz and moving his lighting to the arenas you released had no effect.

If you ever want to know where a file is at, check the config. You can do a CTRL+F and type "77 76ers" and you get your answer.

What i ment is that you removed a Dornabox from the arena you are using. Now i use michaelvlutz retro arenas as a base and cant move his lighting to yours. So i need to know what dornabox you have removed (what the file is called) so that i can keep using michaelvlutz arena. Oh. I didn't actually remove the dornabox from the arena file. In stead, I changed to a similar arena without one and changed the textures to go with the 76ers.

Thanks bro ! I got it to work . Your work is off very high quality. Way better from up close then mine. I did have a issue though that i never had with any textures. Its when i look at them from a side angle it has jagged edges. Not sure what the reason is. You also have it ? I use high settings on most categories in graphics btw.

Good catch. It turns out Paint.net is the issue. I was using that program to be efficient. Will be using Photoshop moving forward.

Hi bro. Im making some dornas for the 2010 bobcats.. Too bad the models of the baskets (stanchion etc) is wrong with many 2000s and 2010 baskets. You think we can remove the minidorna from it or import a correct model ? I will send you the dornas for the bobcats when im ready. Will make some more varition this time since the base arena allows that-

Ok.. i also have some issues with some dornas that i made when seeing them from a side angle. I tried saving them both in paint.net and gimp in dxt1 and dxt11 no succes... Does Photoshop fix it?

Attached is the template I created to make the dornas. I'm using Photoshop to save my dds now because it's supported by Intel, and I don't want to run into any more issues. Haven't tested GIMP.

That I don't know. I would try BC1 first, and if that crashes the game, then it's most likely BC7.
